Ab 1. Juni 2011 wird auch der Bereich für TV-Geräte offiziell unterstützt. Jedoch nur für europäische TV-Geräteversionen ab 2009 und neuer (also ab xxPFLxxx4x/xx).
Da es sich um internationalen Support handelt, wird nur in Englisch geschrieben. Im Forum steht jedoch hauptsächlich der Austausch unter den Philips-Nutzern.
im Jahr 2010 wurden unglaubliche Hertz-Zahlen für die TV-Display in den Raum geworfen: 100 Hz, 200 Hz, 400Hz. Da dies nicht genug ist, leg Philips dieses Jahr nach und führt die “Perfect Motion Rate” ein:

nachdem es für das im Jahr 2011 eingeführte passive 3D (Easy 3D) notwendig macht, Polarisationsbrillen (Philips PTA416) zu nutzen, gibt es für die aktive 3D-Technologie (3D Max) ein neues Brillen-Set: PTA516. Ob es sich dabei um die neuen XPAND YOUniversal X104 handelt, kann zur Zeit nicht gesagt werden.
nachdem es bereits seit einiger Zeit eine offizielle App für iOS gibt, gibt es nun (wie bereits angekündigt) eine App für Android. Den Download gibt es hier.
nachdem bereits die 140.36er Firmware für die 8000er und 9000er Serie veröffentlicht wurde, zieht Philips nun nach und bietet Firmware 140.36 für die 5000er und 7000er Serie an.
Zur Zeit sind jedoch noch keine Firmware-Dateien auf den Servern.
