Philips hat eine neue Firmware Version 3.53 für folgende 2012er Blu-ray-Player veröffentlicht:
- BDP5500/12
- BDP5510/12
- BDP6100/12
- BDP7700/12
Changelog für Version 3.53:
- Fix for the following potential hang-up issues:
- When factory restore is triggered from setup menu.
- Going into standby.
- Changing from “Browse PC” to Blu-ray/SmartTV playback (and vice-versa).
- Potential hang-up while upgrading SW via USB.
- Fixes an issue where Philips TV’s receive digital stereo audio via HDMI connection. (Please visit FAQ in the website for more information).
- Improvements for Russian on screen display:
- Add ID3 tags in Russian
- Keep Russia OSD in Skype after Standby
- Add Russian text in Skype user profile
- Improve Skype texts translation
- Co translation in Russian OSD
- Improve playability for the following disc title:
- German translation for Skype.
Note: VideoCall menu will not be active if there is no camera connected to the BDP and if there is no internet connection. To purchase a compatible Skype camera, visit: www.freetalk.me/philips.
Note: After upgrading the firmware, follow the steps below to reset the device to factory settings:
- Switch off the player.
- Switch on the player.
- Go to Setup Menu (Do not go to Easylink / Preferences).
- On the remote control press UP to scrolled to ADVANCED.
- In ADVANCED, select RESTORE FACTORY DEFAULT.
- The player would automatically restart.
