es gibt neue Firmware-Updates für Philips Stremium Network Music Player NP3300 und das Philips WiFi-Komponenten-HiFi-System MCI8080.
NP3300 – System Software Version: vh4.50S
- This software version enhanced the audio performance.
- Improved Internet radio station connectivity and stability.
MCI8080 – System Software Version: 7.56S
- Listen to over 15 million songs on your device.
This software update brings you the music service from Spotify. With Spotify, you now have access to unlimited music and make it easy to discover music on MCi8080.
After your MCi8080 has been upgraded to this software, and if you are already a Spotify Premium account user, simply go to Online Music Service in the menu item, select Spotify and enter your Spotify Premium account information. Once logged in, you can enjoy millions of tracks at any time you like.
Spotify music service is currently available in Sweden, Norway, Finland, the UK, the US, France, Spain and the Netherlands. Philips: Neue Firmware für GoGearConnect 3 (SA3CNT16) verfügbar (Update 1)
Tachchen,
gerade wurde eine neue Firmware für den GoGearConnect 3 (SA3CNT16) veröffentlicht bzw. wird über WLAN verteilt. Die aktuelle Versionsnummer lautet nun 1.05 und kann beispielsweise über Philips Songbird ausgelesen werden. Welche Änderungen gegenüber Version 1.04 gemacht worden sind, ist aktuell noch unklar.

Da Maxdome die oben genannte Seite wieder entfernt hat, hier ein Screenshot aus dem Google-Cache:
Ab welcher Gerätegeneration (2009, 2010, 2011) die Net-TV-App laufen wird, ist noch unklar (siehe Kommentare).
Update 2 (1.12.2011):
Die Maxdome-App nutzt Windows Media DRM (genauso wie wohl ACETRAX), welches nur in 2011er TV-Geräten integriert ist (auf 2010er nicht möglich). 2011er Blu-ray-Player sollen dies auch nach einem kommenden Firmware-Update beherrschen (aktuell noch nicht).
