Das Update ist über die FAQ-Seiten der TVs zu beziehen und löst folgendes Problem:

Softwarelösung für Probleme mit Ton-, Bild- bzw. Signalverlust während des Fernsehens von einer Freebox Set-Top-Box, die über HDMI angeschlossen ist.

Philips: Feedback zur Napster-Unterstützung auf Fidelio- und Streamium-Geräten (Update 3)

da aktuell immer noch nicht Napster (wieder) auf den Streamium-Geräten läuft, hier ein erfreuliches Feedback aus dem englischen Philips Support Forum:

We are glad to inform you that the Napster service* on the Wireless Hi Fi device – AW1000, AW2000, AW3000, AW5000 and AW9000 – has been resumed. Please upgrade your device to the latest firmware 5.10S or above to re-enable the service.

For the Streamium device – specifically NP2500, NP2900, NP3500, NP3700, NP3900, MCI8080 and MCI900 – the Napster service will be made available within the next two weeks. The schedule for each device will be posted shortly.

As for the Streamium NP3300, we are still resolving a few issues and we’ll provide the update as soon as possible.

We really appreciate your patience and continuous support.

*Napster service supports the users in UK and Germany.

Philips wird in Kürze hat eine neue Firmware Version 3.71 für folgende 2012er Blu-ray-Player veröffentlichten:

BDP5500/12
BDP5510/12
BDP6100/12
BDP7700/12

Changelog für Version 3.71:

Improve playability of 3D discs such as Prometheus, Rio 3D, Ice Age 3 and Ice Age 4.
Improve CEC feature – if the player is connected to a TV via HDMI connection, switching on the player would also switch on the TV.

Wichtig:

Während der Aktualisierung darf keine Disc im Laufwerk sein
Nach der erfolgreichen Installation, Werksreset durchführen:
1. Switch off the player.
2. Switch on the player.
3. Go to Setup Menu (Do not go to Easylink / Preferences).
4. On the remote control press UP to scrolled to ADVANCED.
5. In ADVANCED, select RESTORE FACTORY DEFAULT.
6. The player would automatically restart.

Philips: Neue Firmware H5.10S für Fidelio AW-Serie (Update 1)

Philips hat eine neue Firmware für die Fidelio AW-Serie A9, A5, A3, A2 und A1 (AW9000, AW5000, AW3000, AW2000 und AW1000) veröffentlicht: Version H5.10S.

On Spotify online music service, the previous firmware v.4.95S displays incomplete playlist under starred folders. This issue is corrected on this firmware release version.
Enhanced usability. Song view list now shows 20 or 30 entries compared to 10 entries in previous firmware version.
Now playing indicator is shown on the home page under Music service.
Preset station number indicators are shown next to preset internet radio stations.
Included Network Status Tool for troubleshooting network performance issue. To access to Network Status Tool, go to Services -> Your device -> Settings -> Network status. The Network Status Tool gathers WiFi network statistics and conveys the information into network environment chart. You can improve the performance of network by changing the access point to a channel which has least number of networks. To change the access point channel, please refer to its user manual guide.
