Halo
Für oled754 Saphi keine Firmware vorhanden wegen geänderten OLED-Bereinigungsprozes?Danke
ToengelAdministratorTachchen,

ich weiß nicht wie so aufregst du ?Ich merken überhaupt nicht ,wann durchführt ?!BillyGastI have looked forever for info about this, all i knew was it came with some update, and i haven’t found a way to turn it off, or change the time.
I use google home to start and turn off my TV, and watch everything on a pc connected to the TV so the remote is never used.
Now i need to have the remote at hand in case this comes, and i need to select not to shut down.Is it possible somehow to change the time, or disable it?
I had my tv for years befor this update and never had a burn-in befor.ToengelAdministratorHi,
no – you cannot change the time…
How often do you see this screens?
Toengel@Alex
BillyGastWell based on what you wrote after 4 hours (Only now know how to see the timer for it to happen after i saw what you wrote), but only once have i gone all the time so it forced me to turn it off in the middel of a movie.
But i think at least twice a week, every Saturday and Sunday i see the popup on the screen, and have to get the remote to tell it to postpone it.
Got shows, youtube and stuff running on it in the background when at my PC, if i’m not sitting at it watching something like most of the time. And since i can control everything else from my phone or using my voice it ruins my experience with it more then you can imagine to have to get my remote out just for this thing.
That’s why i hoped when i finally found someone that wrote about it, you would also have a “fix” for it.
SilviuGastHi, sorry for English, my German is not very good.
On a 55POS9002 I did as suggested by the TV message, but the message comes on and on again, even after leaving it overnight (8h+) to do the OLED cleaning. The TV is practically unusable.
Any clue/advice?
By the way, on the 55POS9002 with latest firmware there is no timer.
Thanks,
SilviuBillyGastSilviu I also got the 55POS9002, and for me it comes up every 4 hours, and after that it comes up again after xx hours, and then next time it comes you don’t get a chance to postpone it, and it just turns off.
If it just keeps telling you to turn it off when you turn it on after 8+ hours, have you tried to unplug the TV it for 5-10 min?
Not sure if it does anything but that would be my advice, at least to try it.
I sure hope that there will be a update that lets you turn off this stupid protection, i had the TV for a year when this update with it came, and never had a problem with ghosting no matter how long/much i watched it befor.
SilviuGastI have done an OS reboot, but will try your suggestion too.
The user manual says that, if this operation is happening too often, it might affect the lifetime of the device. And given that it probably happened 10 times+ already, I wonder if I should keep trying and trigger it again and again, as my TV will be out of warranty in a couple of months. Didnnnyone have success with Philips support?
SilviuGastNow that I read your previous post: I don’t have an option to skip the cleaning of procedure. Just click ok once when the message that cleaning was interrupted appears and a few seconds later press ok that it will start. Then goes to standby.
Seems that it simply doesn’t record in its counters or flags that the cleaning has been done. Or the cleaning doesn’t actually happen at all.
In the 10-15 seconds that I can use the TV until the pop-ups appear, I managed to call the cleaning myself (hoping that it would forcefully record the event) and also a reboot. Didn’t help a bit.
BillyGastIf you say that it will be out of warranty in a few month, i would contact where you bought it, and let them have a look at it, because that’s not normal, and perhaps if you are lucky they can’t fix it, and you get a new and a new warranty. :)
Please let me know what happens after you spoke to them, and good luck with it.
It’s a good TV, but this update just broke it (Alot more for you then me it sounds like). -
