What exactly do you mean with the 120hz bug?
I would like to know how it will conitinue with the inscreen and ambilight flashes but honestly i dont still believe in it…they know it for over 6 months and update after update is coming with no fix.

@Pinse The HDMI bug happens every one or two days or so.
If you have a HDMI port (I use HDMI 2) set to one of the high bandwidth options (Optimal, Optimal Auto Game or Optimal Auto Game 120 Hz Pro), the TV somehow “forgets” this setting. I notice this for example by my Nvidia Shield 2019 Pro no longer showing Dolby Viosn, or my PC no longer able to use 4K 120 Hz. I have HDMI 2 connected to a Denon X2800H receiver.
To fix the issue, you need to go to the HDMI Ultra HD option of the HDMI port in the TV setting menu. It will still show the correct setting, but you need to switch to another setting and then back again to get the high bandwidth back. After that, my Shield immediately is able to show Dolby Vision again.

@Pinse But do you use any of the Optimal settings on the HDMI port where your PS5 connected to?
@Maurice Yes, optimal gaming vrr and my ps5 turns itself automaticly to 120hz if i start a game with 120hz. Its hdmi 1 in my case. I set it to that one time, months ago.
But i have ambilight and inscreen flashes aswell.
Phlips hats beim 42OLED808 im Vergleich zu meinem 55OLED936 mit dem Einbrennschutz etwas sehr übertrieben, das könnte man sicher auch besser in der Software lösen. Der 55OLED936 macht das sehr sauber und lokal begrenzt, der 42OLED808 dunkelt gefühlt 1/8 des Bildes ab und das nichtmal gut, sieht aus wie Dreck. Klar war der 936er teurer, aber auch größer, zwei Jahre älter und da hängt noch ne Soundbar samt Lizenz dran. Also so weit auseinander sind die eigentlich nicht.

ich bin mit meinem Wissen am Ende bzw. komme ich bei einem Thema nicht weiter (bin ich zu dumm?)…
An meinem 55OLED808 habe ich eine PS5 angeschlossen. Wenn ich etwas länger spiele kündigt der TV an das er in den Bildschirmschoner umschalten will. Um dies zu vermeiden solch ich irgend eine Taste drücken. Wo kann ich diese Einstellung finden um den Bildschirmschoner gänzlich abzuschalten? Unter Einstellungen/Bild habe ich nicht gefunden 🤷♂️
