Dies ist der Diskussions-Thread zum Blog-Eintrag: Philips 2020: Die OLED935 Serie mit Ambilight 4, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, Android TV und 3.1.2 Sound von Bowers & Wilkins.
- * For SDR, I use ISF Day so I can use the “Colour control” option. I like the wide colour gamut because of the more saturated colours, but it makes skin tones look unnaturally red. With the Hue, Saturation and Intensity settings I use for the colour Red, skin tones look much more natural and other colours still look good.
* For SDR, the picture looks more vivid when you set Perfect Natural Reality to Minimum. However, this does not play nice with the Contrast mode set to Optimized for picture, because it somehow changes the colours. This is why I use Optimized for energy savings and set the OLED contrast higher (on 70).
In HDR10 and Dolby Vision (DV) mode, this colour change is not happening, so I used Contrast mode Optimized for picture there.
* For SDR if you want to reduce colour banding, the Noise reduction and MPEG artefact reduction settings should both be set to Minimum, otherwise the colour banding reduction feature will not work.
* Lastly, Motion is set to Movie, because this makes for a big reduction in judder, but does not have the Soap Opera Effect.
I think it’s a shame that in AI mode you cannot control the colour settings at all. I would love to be able to use the new AI mode for the motion and picture enhancement options, but still be able to control the colours myself.
