Philips 2017: Wrap-UP der IFA 2017

nach dem Besuch der Philips Pressekonferenz, zweier Philips Workshops und einiger persönlicher Gespräche und Vorführungen, möchte ich mein eigenes Fazit der diesjährigen IFA 2017 geben.
65PUS8102/12 : Der Nachfolger des 65PUS7601 – das heißt: Direct LED mit Full Array Local Dimming mit 128 Zonen. Im Gegensatz um 7601 wurde die Leuchtdichte auf 1100 nits (cd/m²) erhöht. Dies hat zur Folge, dass der 8102 auch UHD Premium zertifiziert ist. Das Design ist schlicht und die V-Standfüße sind ein wenig nach innen versetzt.55PUS8602/12 und 65PUS8602/12 : Die beiden Quantum Dot TVs machen einen guten Eindruck. Vor allem die Soundbar, die nur magnetisch befestigt wird (also auch abgenommen werden kann) ist extrem gut. Sehr kraftvoll und vom Klang her mit das Beste, was in den letzten 3-4 Jahren zu hören war.
65 Zoll OLED 9000er Serie : Da der kommende 65er OLED eine 2018er Modellnummer bekommen und da 2018 ein neues Namensschema eingeführt wird, ist noch keine Modellnummer offiziell – also auch nicht 65POS9602 oder 65POS9603 ! Nichtsdestotrotz: Der 65er hat eine Soundbase , die sowohl im Standbetrieb als auch als Wandhalterung genutzt werden kann. Die VESA-Schraubungen befinden sich auf der Unterseite der Soundbase. Somit ist diese zwingend erforderlich für eine Wandmontage (zumindest habe ich das so verstanden). Wer auf die Soundbase verzichten will, kann zur 9002-Serie greifen. Neben dem bereits erhältlichen 55POS9002 wird es demnächst auch eine 65-Zoll-Ausführung geben (65POS9002) . Die Stick-Fernbedienung des 65er ist nur eine Beigabe. Beibehalten wird die normale Doppelseitige Fernbedienung. Der Stick hat nur ein paar Haupttasten und ein SWIPE-Feld. Dieses Feld ist gleichzeitig auch der OK-Button, der gedrückt werden kann. Falls durch die Integration von Google Assistant die Bedienung des TVs komplett über Sprache getätigt werden kann, wäre die Stick-Fernbedienung möglicherweise eine Alternative. Bis dahin – aus meiner Sicht – eine nette Spielerei. Schön, dass die Ambilight-Leisten wieder näher zum Rand kommen.Dual Multi-Tuner: Der letzte TV, der einen Dual Multi-Tuner hatte ist der 55POS901F OLED . Das P5-Mainboard hat nur einen Single Multi-Tuner.
P5 : Die P5 Picture Processing Engine steckt in allen TVs ab 7502 aufwärts. Das heißt, dass bei allen dieser TVs dieselben Algorithmen aktiv sind (nicht so wie bei früheren Jahrgängen, wo bestimmte Algorithmen durch Software in niedrigen Serien deaktiviert waren). Die Qualitäts- und Bildverarbeitungsunterschiede sind hier durch Panel und durch das Backlight begründet. Weiterhin wurde in einem OLED-Shootout, bei dem Sony, Panasonic, Philips und LG vertreten waren (alle mit demselben Panel), durchgeführt. Hier konnte man die Stärken des P5 sehen. Alle TVs waren auf Standard Werkseinstellungen im Vivid-Modus gestellt. Als Fazit kann man sagen, dass der P5 eine sehr gute Arbeit verrichtet.Dolby Vision: Ist weiterhin kein Thema.
HDR10+: Man untersucht, inwieweit HDR10+ etwas bringt und ob es eingebaut werden kann. Nichts ist beschlossene Sache. Aktuell sind HDR10 und HLG die unterstützten HDR-Standards.
Android TV 7 : Wird zuerst auf TVs mit P5 (TPM171E Firmware ) kommen und dann wahrscheinlich auch QM16xE-TVs .Google Assistant : Voraussetzung ist Android TV 7. Wird auf jeden Fall auf P5-Mainboards kommen. Ob der Google Assistant auch auf QM16xE-basierten TV-Modellen kommen wird, ist noch nicht definitiv. Hier muss erst geprüft werden, ob die Performance ausreicht. Suche nach Inhalten in Netflix und YouTube wurden gezeigt. Auch Pausieren und Lautstärkenänderungen. Alles noch im Entwicklungsstadium.AmbiSmart App : Neben der Steuerung der im TV hinterlegten Ambilight-Modi, ist der Rest Spielerei. Aber Ambilight-Settings, die über die App festgelegt werden, sollen in Zukunft auch über Google Assistant abrufbar sein.
