Hat leider nicht funktioniert.

Die TPM186E_018.002.211.001 von 2018 ist vielleicht zu alt, habe jedenfalls kein Bild, nur Ton. Der Fernseher war ja 2020 gekauft.
Habe jetzt die TPM186E_018.004.223.001 wieder drauf.

Blöderweise weiß ich eben nicht mehr, welche FW beim Kauf drauf war. Also muss ich nun wohl damit leben, entweder

-ständig die dämliche FW Upgrade Aufforderung wegzudrücken oder
-die Blacklist in der FritzBox zu nutzen, mit dem Ergebnis, dass vieles (Apps, Arte Mediathek…) nicht mehr funktioniert oder
-die neueste FW aufzuspielen, womit die Mediatheken ständig abstürzen

Hast du noch eine Idee?

Alles sehr ärgerlich. Ich kann jeden nur davor warnen, ohne Not ein Fimrware Upgrade zu machen!

Hello. How are you? I’m from Argentina and I have a 55″ OLED 873/77. It got stuck on the Philips logo. I accidentally couldn’t find the upgrade loader for my version. I installed one I found here.

TPM171E_107.1.101.2_upgrade_loader

Then just turn on the Philips light

Now I found the Upgrade Loader for my version. It only shows the “Software update in progress” for 20 minutes, then it turns off and only the Philips light turns on.

How could I solve it?

Hi,

the linked firmware files in my blog are for European models (/12). So, the TPM171E does not work. You need TPM171L firmware files.

TPM171L is for the following models:

• OLED873/77 + OLD873/78
• PUG8513/77 + PUG8513/78

Try this upgrade_loader for TPM171L for recovery. This is the latest normal update and here is the firmware history.

I tried the upgrade loader you sent me, but it does the same thing. The “Software update in progress” appears for 5 minutes, then turns off, appears again for 10 minutes, then turns off again. Then the Philips light comes on, but not the screen.

What could be the problem?  Will rewriting the eMMC work?

Hi,

try it again (keep all files from that archive on the USB stick – but not the PDF)… It should not take different times… if yes, it could be a flash chip issue…
