Tachchen,
kommt immer drauf an, was du machst…

Hi,
kurze Frage an Toengel…
Was kann man da machen?
Thx und Grüße aus Berlin
Peter
Tachchen,

danke
Tachchen,
ja – mach mal ein Werksreset… (“TV neu einrichten”)
Toengel@Alex
Peter
Hat geklappt… TV geht wieder 😎

Hello,
I own 55OLED819 for a few days, installed apps I like but the TV is complaining about low storage. I have checked and there is about 5 GB storage for apps available in total, now about 800 MB left. My old 50PUS7303 TV had 10 GB for apps. I found 5 GB to be a step back. Is it really new standard now or am I doing anything wrong? Is it possible to disable the low storage notification? Thank you.
Hi,
5 GB is normal (16 GB Flash Memory = 2x Android with 8 GB, of each 8 GB => 3 GB Android + 5 GB free space)

Hello Toengel,
Thank you for your reply. It is bit shame that Philips keeps the same amount of memory for higher end TVs while the size of Android OS is growing. I have checked the TV EPG app usage and it was normal. I don’t see any app taking huge amount of data. Is there any chance to get rid of the warning and request to the cleanup? Which doesn’t help either as there are few MBs in cache. Thank you
Hi,
did you also check the system apps? There need to be other apps then, which consume the flash memory… Kodi or any other media center app? Maybe there are apps, which show which app is comsuming the most of memory…

Hello Alex,
I have found a system app org.droidtv.common.NetTVApplication taking up 1,6 GB of space. Unfortunately deleting app data/cache doesn’t have any effect.
Hi,
but the cache was 1.6 GB? And you could delete the cache? Did you reboot Android afterwards?
Toengel@Alex
John10
Hello Alex,
it is not the cache that is big, but the data have 1,6 GB. I selected to delete data and cache also but the size is still 1,6 GB even after reboot. I can try to remove the app with ADB but I don’t know whether this is safe to do.

Hi,
so after deleting the “data”, the data is still 1.6 GB? Or is the app itself 1.6 GB?
