I’ve extracted the PKG file from the TPN258E_058.002.179.041_upgrade.zip. I’ve tried to put the file (also renaming it) into an USB FAT32 drive but the TV doesn’t install anything. After I’ve updated the TitanOS software from the menù, the TV perform a boot loop (after the Philips logo the TV reboot automatically). How can I solve this?

                    Hi,

if OBR is not working, try to rename the file to “upgrade_image.pkg” or “upgrade.pkg” for the upgrade-loader-procedure… if both are not working, try different USB sticks…

ok grazie, ora provo! FAT o FAT32 vanno bene entrambi?

I’ve tried with 3 different USB, FAT/FAT32, putting only 1 file on the USB on the root, renaming the file in upgrade.pkg/upgrade_loader.pkg/upgrade_image.pkg but on every try I got always the same result, the infinite reboot and never see an update screen. It’s possible that is not the correct file or the Tv has already tha firmware and won’t update?

I used 2Gb and 8Gb USB, and a 64Gb USB formatted with only one 8Gb partition

                            Hi,

everything is correct – maybe the bootloader is broken, then the procedure is not working (and also OBR will not work).
