Bisher habe ich sei dem Update kein Ambilight blitzen mehr festgestellt. Das starten des TVs mit der Netflix, YouTube Taste usw. funktioniert auch.
I will repeat my message from the other thread here, since the HDMI bug with the high bandwidth settings is still not fixed unfortunately :(
The HDMI bug happens every one or two days or so.
If you have a HDMI port (I use HDMI 2) set to one of the high bandwidth options (Optimal, Optimal Auto Game or Optimal Auto Game 120 Hz Pro), the TV somehow “forgets” this setting. I notice this for example by my Nvidia Shield 2019 Pro no longer showing Dolby Viosn, or my PC no longer able to use 4K 120 Hz. I have HDMI 2 connected to a Denon X2800H receiver.
To fix the issue, you need to go to the HDMI Ultra HD option of the HDMI port in the TV setting menu. It will still show the correct setting, but you need to switch to another setting and then back again to get the high bandwidth back. After that, my Shield immediately is able to show Dolby Vision again.
@Maurice, I Have the same problem with this last update.
I Hope that update fix flash in the screen and the ambiligth.
Please note that I unplugged the TV after the update. I also completely factory reset the TV, amplifier and Apple TV 4K.
@Coco Thank you for confirming the HDMI bug. It’s very disappointing that they still did not fix this after all these months :(
I’m having the same problem with the HDMI setting not being remembered (rendering Dolby Vision impossible unless the setting is reactivated every time, deep down in the menus). In combination with an Apple TV.
Always flash in the screen and the ambilight !!!
Unfortunately, they did not fix sound issue on PUS8818. Very loud distorted, metallic sound with echo, even on the very low scale of volume still randomly appeared. I need to go to the sound settings and change sound from original to AI or the other way. It resolves the problem immediately but it’s very, very irritating – after turning on tv i have to remember to set tv voice into minimum in case the sound turned out to be very loud and distorted.
Does anybody still experienced this issue with new firmware?
@Chase I suffer from the same audio issue! By trial and error I found out that it bugs out ONLY when audio volume is set to <=10 when turning off the TV. If you keep audio above this level when turning off it doesnt happen anymore. Its definetely not a solution but a nice workaround.

I’ve had enough! 3 files opened, manipulations, data sent, videos etc … I can’t take it anymore!

auch bei mir ist weiterhin das Blitzen beim Ambilight zu sehen.
Ich habe von Philips heute dazu folgende Antwort bekommen:
“Zum Blitzen aus dem Ambilight:
Das von Ihnen beschriebene Fehlerbild ist in Untersuchung. Aktuell arbeiten wir mit Hochdruck an einer Lösung. Bitte haben Sie Verständnis, dass wir Ihnen hierzu kein verbindliches Datum nennen können. Vielen Dank für Ihre Geduld.”
Ich habe den Händler nun um Rücknahme gebeten. Ambilight war für mich das Kaufargument für das Gerät. Hätte ich von dem Fehler vorher gewusst, wäre es eine andere Marke geworden.

auch mit dem neuen Firmware-Update tritt das Ambilight Blitzen bei mir weiterhin auf.
Mein Ticket bei Philips ist immer noch in Bearbeitung (Status On Hold).
Ich gebe so langsam die Hoffnung auf, dass der Fehler jemals behoben wird.
Also das Bild ist bei HDR DV deutlich besser geworden, zumindest im Filmmaker Mode, besser kann es der LG G3 auch nicht finde ich, da ich den direkten Vergleich habe.
Ambilight blitzen hatte ich bisher nur einmal vor etlichen Wochen, seitdem nie wieder. Nur der HDMI-Bug nervt. :-(

Ich bin stolzer Besitzer eines Philips 65″ Oled 908+.
Mein Problem ist folgendes, der TV ist auf neuestem Software stand und ich schaue über die HD+ App TV, nach einigen Tagen ist plötzlich kein Bild mehr von den Privaten zusehen. Dann muß ich immer alles neu installieren bis es wieder funktioniert. Kennt oder hat noch jemand so ein Problem?

Das Ambilight blinkt im “Standard”-Modus. Im Natur- oder Spielmodus blinkt es beispielsweise nicht. Außerdem ist mir aufgefallen, dass es auch im “Standard”-Modus nicht immer blinkt. Meistens, wenn ein statisches Bild auf dem Bildschirm zu sehen ist. Ich habe meinen Fernseher auf den “natürlichen” Modus eingestellt und alles ist in Ordnung.
