Mal eine Frage, da ich gerade bei Bewertungen im Internet darauf gestoßen bin. Ist die Fernbedienung (8848/12) beleuchtet und ich habe die Einstellung nur noch nicht gefunden? Die Ambilight Taste leuchtet ja beim Draufdrücken und jemand schrieb, dass es schade ist, dass die Beleuchtung nur bei aktivierten Ambilight funktioniert.

Bonjour, Still random white flashes in the image on my 808 despite this latest update. (Not present on my 804) I’m not the only one. Some members of other forums are noticing it too…

Hi Coco, does anyone there found a solution? I can tell you mine, maybe it helps you too until we hopefully get a update :( just restart your tv after booting it up from standby. Just settings and restart, takes only 20 seconds and works until you go in standby again. I think its better than nothing :)

Tastatur ist nicht beleuchtet sondern nur die Ambilight-Taste. Somit ist die Tastatur (fast) nutzlos da man meist in abgedunkelten Räumen TV/Filme schaut.

Thema Blitze: hatte seit 3-4 Tagen keine mehr. Mal schauen wann die wieder kommen..

@Lu Ok, danke…schade…bin die beleuchtete Fernbedienung so vom Amazon Cube gewohnt, dass ich immer wieder drsufschaue und warte, dass sie anfängt zu leuchten :D

Das freut mich für dich, bei mir ist es leider weiterhin nach jedem Aufwachen aus dem Standby…dann ein mal Neustart und es ist weg.
Bleibt der Fernseher bei dir auch im Standby oder nimmst du immer den Strom weg evtl durch einen Kippschalter an der Steckdosenleiste?

Ich nehme ihn jede Nacht vom Strom (nachdem er 30-60min im Standby war wegen OLED Schutz)

@Lu achja, du hast ja einen neuen OLED :) ich dachte schon als ich “Schutz” gelesen hatte, dass ich was falsch mache.

Ich vermute leider, dass deshalb das Blitzen bei dir weg ist…vom Strom nehmen oder Neustart lässt das Blitzen verschwinden. Wenn du ihn in den Standby setzt, kurz wartest (ich habe eine Stunde & über Nacht probiert) dann ist das Blitzen wieder da…
Meiner bleibt immer im Standby und am nächsten Morgen ist das Blitzen wieder da…dann muss ich einmal neustarten und so lange der Fernseher an bleibt ist das Blitzen weg.

@Coco Ur welcome :) i hope so too, but honestly i dont have a good feeling…because there are some tvs completly without that problem…we have also the 8808 without any problems…before update, after the update…since unpacking no problems with it. But the 8848 with the old and new firmware always flashing. Only the restart helps. Also i’m waiting since days for the reply from Philips about the 100 days testing with ambilight…should be acceptet within 36 hours but its almost a week. Maybe i will go, if there wont be an update until then, with another tv without ambilight.

There are quite a few problems between my flash problems in the image and the flashes in the ambilight, which is quite a lot…
I’ve also learned that there are problems with the sources section at startup, which always goes to hdmi 2 when a soundbar is on it…
I miss my 804 sometimes ….

isn’t there a setting for the “startup behavior”?

There does different AL hardware exist (control boards with different chipsets …)

Yes, there is a setting but doesnt work for me. Didnt noticed it as a massive problem as much as the flashes. But yes, i have a soundbar and it always boots up at the second hdmi, but i have homescreen set in settings.

Sorry für Doppelpost aber gibt es da aus der Vergangenheit Erfahrungen, dass solches Ambilight Flackern schon mal aufgetreten ist bei manchen Modellen und dann durch ein Update gefixt wurde? Als ich bei Philips angerufen habe hieß es, dass so ein Problem nicht bekannt sei.
Ist mein erster Ambilight Fernseher, daher echt keine Erfahrungen… @Toengel

Bei meinen PUS55.. war es nicht, da das Panel nicht mehr rep. war,holte uch mir einen 55oled708/12 nach den Update war es auch. Da es ein Ausstellungsstück war wurde er 1:1 getauscht! Nun jetzt habe ich Angst sobald ich die neue Firmware drauf mache , dass der Scheis wieder anfängt. Denke aber das ist ein Problem von Philips.

Just FYI: I also have an 808 (48OLED808), and I have the same issues:
– flashes in the screen
– flashed in the Ambilight
and
– TV does not remember Optimal setting for HDMI input, I have to readable it everytime I want to use Dolby Vision from the Apple TV

All problems persist after the latest firmware update
