Did you install “Button Mapper” app, tvQuickActionsPro  or any similar app?
Uninstall it and try. You can also disable it in Accessibility menu.

I got the same few weeks ago. When I tried to select a setting in the Quick Menu or Frequent settings, no result.

I uninstalled ButtonMapper and now IT works.
Clearing Data in org.droidtv.playtv had no effect.

I was reading your forum for long time.

but I’m getting pissed because from September there are no fix and no firmware update to solve our issues …

I’m experiencing many issues mentioned here with my 65oled909

1) VRR is not working

2) after upgrade to Android 14 USB LAN stopped to work (which is necessery because build WiFi likes to disconnect randomly once a day)

3) doubled HDMI inputs on the list when plugged AVR and player

4) fixed 60Hz on apps so Plex won’t change refresh rate to 24Hz where playing 23.976fps movie

5) issues with atmos from apps when eARC enabled

I bought this model after my previous 65oled807 which was amazing IMO

however this new one, is a sh….

I’m running already hue sync lights so don’t care anymore about Ambilight on this tv

However in considering to sent it to warranty

do you know how to proceed in this case?

does tpv has any helpdesk ?

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe einen OLED810/12 und in Verbindung mit SkyQ auch diese kurzen Aussetzer des Bildes. Der Support hat mir dann den Downgrade auf R.201.100.107.002_20250430_7594 empfohlen und mir die entspreche Datei zukommen lassen.

Nach dem Downgrade habe ich nun keine Aussetzer mehr, auch nicht in UHD und auch keine merklichen Probleme bei HDMI Eingängen oder ähnliches. Ich habe dazu auch die automatische Aktualisierung deaktiviert und die Überblendung des täglichen Update-Hinweises abgeschaltet. Soweit so gut.

Nun aber meine Frage: wie bekomme ich am besten heraus, wann Philips ein entsprechendes korrigiertes FW Update herausgebracht hat mit den entsprechenden Release Notes?! Oder soll ich in 2-3 Wochen einfach mal das Update machen in der Hoffnung, es gab ein neues? Konsequenz wäre dann natürlich, wieder zu downgraden wenn es nicht behoben wurde und die Bildaussetzer wieder da sind.

Wobei ich eigentlich auch einfach alles so lassen könnte, bemerke aktuell keine Probleme oder gibt es Schwachstellen bei der oben genannten Version die ich kennen sollte ;) ?

But how about when you need to factory reset when something is bricked,

 

Before you could push the joystick to you and plug the TV in, but I can’t find any joystick on this TV haha?

In the manual of the 77 oled 810 is listed there is a joystick in the backside if the TV but I can’t find it haha.

I found it it’s a way smaller button behind the tv,

 

But I love this TV the 810 77 inch

 

Only problem is when my pc is connected to the TV and soundbar is on earc,

Tv only gets surround when the sound is set to multichannel but there is a small delay in the sound…

 

Setting the TV to multichannel bypass there is no surround (supposedly it only supports dolby digital like the manual says?

It’s so frustrating I only get surround with multichannel and get a small audio delay,

Bypass there are 0 delays but there is no surroundm. M

Why is Phillips so bad in the audio sigment,

The delay might be because you have Dolby Atmos turned ON in PC sound settings for the Soundbar (HDMI) ?

The TV has to be on “multichannel bypass” to correctly proceed surround sound, you actually have to use a surround sound source for it to work.

The Option “multichannel” is kinda a “fake” surround since it upmix all sources (stereo & surround) into surround.

True Surround (5.1 etc.) from PC works only with Dolby Atmos enabled, which introduces delay.

No dolby atmos is turned off ( streaming with moonlight) so im using the pcm audio, and pcm audio doesn’t work with bypass only dolby atmos etc yes.

 

Same like the manual it says multichannel bypass is only for audio codecs like dolby digital etc it can’t do pcm?

 

So I have to use multichannel so I always get a small delay, with multi channel surround 7. 1 does work (tested it in speaker configuration)

 

Moonlight (game streaming from main gaming pc to mini pc what is connected to ‘tv) can’t do dolby atmos only pcm so my only way around it is using multi channel I guess and accept the little delay
