USB Ethernet not working after manually installing .002 update and later updating to .207 problem persists.
Image still stutters with certain videos when motion smoothing on, like Silo and Severance, especially on DV and HDR10+.Picture quality seems better now.

ich habe das Update schon vor geraumer Zeit auf meinem OLED708 via OTA installiert. Leider habe ich nun folgende Probleme mit meinem über eARC angeschlossenen AV Receiver (Denon DRA-900h):
1. Keine Bildübertragung des Receiver an den TV (bspw. das Konfigurationsmenü), der TV zeigt nur an, dass keine Quelle verfügbar ist.
2. Ist der TV aus und ich schalte den Receiver ein, schaltet dieser sich nach kürzester Zeit wieder aus. Habe testweiste mal den TV abgesteckt, dann tritt dieses Verhalten nicht mehr auf. Auch bei deaktiviertem “Power On Easy Link”, also über TV den Receiver ein-/ausschalten tritt es nicht auf. Es wirkt also so, dass der TV im Standby weiter CEC Befehle für Power Off an den Receiver schickt. :( Aktuell umgehe ich das Problem, indem ich einfach CEC für Power On/Off deaktiviert habe.

Hi, Same problem with hdmi2 on 77OLED809 : No picture from my denon x3800h. Since all my devices are connected to it, it made my tv allmost unusable. Of course i tried to unplug it and/or reset the tv. Nothing works except those warkoround :
+Same as Matgeh : I have to swhitch on hdmi swtich off and the on again to get picture.
+I have found another workaround : you disable all easylink/arc features for hdmi 2 port and then picture is back.
What a buggy firmware…. Will have to rollback
I‘ve been struggling with same issues. Arc/eArc works, it seems to be a CEC issue. Try to unplug TV and receiver for at least 2 minutes.

This is incredible. Several months and at least two or three software versions available for installation via USB. Finally, they release versions for everyone via OTA, and it turns out that it does not work properly with what is currently standard in the definition of “home theater,” i.e., good cooperation with an A/V receiver.
For all those who do not want to install this version and at the same time do not want to press the “skip” button every time – you need to go to settings, then to applications, applications with special access, display above other applications -> and here, finally, for the “Settings” application, we revoke the permission to display above other applications.
Das kann ich bestätigen, seitdem letzte Nacht das Update auf TPM231WW_R.201.100.146.207 quf meinem OLED809 installiert wurde, funktioniert Netzwerk via USB3-Anschluss nicht mehr. Mit der vorhergehenden Firmwareversion TPM231WW_R.101.002.038.234 lief das.
Die Folge, ich kann nun keine HDR+ Inhalte mehr über mein NAS abspielen lassen, da diese ruckeln. Die intern verbaute Netzwerkkarte ist nur 100 MBit, damit zu langsam und das WLAN des TV schafft es ebenso wenig ausreichend Bandbreite zur Verfügung zu stellen, obwohl via WiFi6 verbunden und lt. Anzeite 1000MBit anliegen.
Ein riesen Murks, was sich Philips hier für so teure Geräte leistet.
Ich kann euch mitteilen, dass der 65OLED959 nicht mehr mit einer PS5 PRO funktioniert, da der Spielemodus auf dem Phillips-Fernseher ca. alle 2 Sekunden blinkt. Der Fernseher ist also derzeit zum Spielen unbrauchbar. Ich lebe in Dänemark.
Ich habe mit Phillips gesprochen. Höchstwahrscheinlich werden sie mir helfen, das Update zurückzusetzen, damit der Fernseher wieder mit einer PS5 PRO funktioniert.
I just run this update. Since then the internet through the ethernetport is not working. Wifi does work. It says, cable not connected. But it worked before the update. Anyone else excperience this?
Du kannst deine PS5 zum Laufen bringen, musst dafür aber VRR und 120 Hz auf der Playstation ausschalten. Vor dem neuen Update lief die PS5 mit beiden Einstellungen einwandfrei. Unglaublich, dass Phillips das nicht getestet hat, bevor sie deinen Fernseher so deutlich verschlechtern. Ich glaube, viele haben sich für einen Fernseher wie den 65OLED959 entschieden, weil er für eine PS5 PRO geeignet ist. Gut, dass du noch Garantie hast.
Ich habe genau das gleiche Problem mit meinem OLED959.

Correction to the signal above:
4K, 120hz, VRR off, HDR on, HDMI Ultra HD Optimal (Auto Game 144hz Pro), AI Picture Style: Game or Monitor
The screen on the OLED959 will keep flickering if you use VRR or 120hz. The update has broken that option. Hope Philips fixes this soon. This is their most expensive TV model from 2024.

But I wonder if the 120hz + Monitor/Game bug is present in other models than OLED959

You’re right about 120hz, but when you change games on PS5, it forces the Philips TV into game/pc mode, and then the screen starts to flicker and you have to change the HDR profile away from game/pc to stop the flickering!
