Thanks everyone. I will try. Yesterday it seemed fine for some reason. At least Game Mode colors seem fine now and Game Mode HDR has much better brightness than with my previous update from last year.

        FYI

this latest f/w still does not on “OTA”

so,I just wonder and asking you guys, such as it seems this f/w for “12” code(EU-Assembled in Poland)TVs??

or for example area code “60”(Russia) or area code “62”(Turkey)??

seems that probably does not competible for 60 and 62 though!

in fact I do not like this TPV works for assembled codes difference, and WHY?

        have a nice week-end

            thx Alex

so,in this respect for our region (60 or 62) w’v to await by OTA update in soon,if available

now,for region code 12 is ready right now,but I do not attempt/force to install this f/w at present

might be uncompetible or has it any other risks to properly work!

note;Alex, any info for 60/62 regions such as Android-14 plus other fixes etc.,

            thanks++

Need TPM231WW Upgrade Loader for Philips 55OLED808/12
                  Hi everyone,
My Philips 55OLED808/12 is stuck in a boot loop. The TV only reacts to .pkg firmware (blue upgrade screen appears and goes up to 100%), but after restart it goes back to a black screen with slow blinking LED.
It does not recognize .upg autorun files, so I assume it needs a proper upgrade_loader package to fully reinitialize the partitions.
I found that TPM231WW_R.201.100.107.002_upgrade_loader.zip existed, but the official OneDrive link on Toengel’s blog is down.
👉 Does anyone have a working copy of this loader, or know if 038.234 or another loader version works for the 808 series?
                  Thanks in advance!

                    Hi,

just check the Firmware ARCHIV here…

                    Toengel@Alex

Thanks, but I already checked the firmware archive.
The file TPM231WW_R.201.100.107.002.zip only contains autorun.upg / .pkg, not the upgrade_loader.zip.

What I specifically need is the upgrade loader version (e.g. TPM231WW_R.201.100.107.002_upgrade_loader.zip).
The official OneDrive link for that file is down, and without a loader the TV won’t recover – .pkg only updates but doesn’t reinitialize the system.

Do you (or anyone) still have the loader file saved?

                            Hi,
thank you for your reply. I understand that the Firmware Archive has been updated and the OneDrive link was removed.

However, in our case we are specifically looking for an “upgrade_loader” package (a ZIP archive which contains the autorun.upg file, for example something like TPM231WW_R.101.002.038.234_upgrade_loader.zip).

Unfortunately, the current archive only provides the .pkg updates, which don’t help in recovery. Since you mentioned in older posts that such loader files existed, could you please share or re-upload one of them (especially for TPM231WW)?

That would be extremely helpful, as our TV is stuck in a boot loop and only a loader can fully restore the partitions.

Thank you very much in advance!

                              Hi,

                              you are wrong:

*.pkg = upgrade loader (for downgrade, recovery, …)

*.upg = normal update (USB or OTA)

                              Toengel@Alex

Thank you, Toengel, for the clarification – now it makes sense.
I was confused by the old naming convention with “upgrade_loader.zip” versus “autorun.upg”.

                                So, to confirm:

.pkg = upgrade loader (full recovery / downgrade capable)

.upg = normal update (USB or OTA only)

That helps a lot to understand what is happening in my case. Much appreciated.
