As already explained, do NOT upgrade to this version.
I have never had a problem with the sound and with TPM211EA: 101.1.4.108 the sound cuts out in ARC for 4 to 10 seconds and then comes back on by itself.After restoring to TPM211EA: 101.1.3.223 then again to 101.1.4.108 the problem persists.
So I’m going to stay on 101.1.4.105 for as long as possible !!!!!!Thanks again Philips for offering us buggy firmware
ARC seems to be rocket science.
As mentioned in the previews thread. earc is working for me with this Firmware for the very first time without interruption. So it’s quite the opposite to what Morgan is experiencing for me.
Do have a Sonus Beam 2 receiving input using earc bypass from internal apps.
So maybe it’s worth a try for people facing earc issues from previous builds.
Morgan, I cannot follow you: My sound problems (approx. every hour about 10 seconds without tone at PCM) encountered in 105 completely disappeared in 108 !
Possibly another special problem with your device???

Ich habe jetzt auch zum ersten Mal Probleme mir ARC bei meinem OLED 706. Der Ton verzerrt erst stark und dann fällt er für mehrere Sekunden komplett aus.
Ansonsten ist diese Firmware aber eine starke Verbesserung. Die Performance der UI und der Apps ist extrem verbessert worden.
Ich verstehe nicht, wieso Philips diese heftigen Probleme mit dem Ton hat. Das ist absolut indiskutabel.

Nach den bisherigen Erfahrungen hab ich dann mal schnell die Automatische Aktualisierung ausgeschaltet bei meinem 65OLED837. Hab den erst seit 4 Wochen und es im Gegensatz zum alten 55OLED804 war es noch gar nicht ausgeschaltet.
Denn soweit läuft bei mir aktuell alles, da soll mir insbesondere ARC nicht kaputt gemacht werden.

@Toengel/Alex..hast Du ggfs. einen Download im Angebot? OTA wird noch immer nicht angeboten! Wird mir auf meinem PUS 8506 noch stets nicht angezeigt..noch immer auf der 105-Version unterwegs,warte auf die 108-Version. Externer Download auch noch nirgendwo erhältlich (Philips Homepage kann man ja mittlerweile eh vergessen!Leider!). Dankeeeeee und ein schönes Wochenende! :-)

Wie bei Morgan und einigen anderen habe ich auch diese Tonaussetzer über eArc an einer Teufel Soundbar.

Hoffentlich kommt da zügig ein Fix, e nervt schon etwas.Ist für mich das erste mal, dass ich Probleme mit meinem OLED 876 habe – bisher waren alle Updates in Ordnung (bzw. ich habe nie einen Unterschied bemerkt). Ich vermisse irgendwie die Changelogs zu den Firmwares.
