That’s a shame. You can try playing the XVID encoded videos with VLC or MX Player. That should still work.
Auch wenn die Diskussionen sich inzwischen um viele andere Probleme drehen…
Ich habe jetzt vom Philips Support offiziel die Anleitung bekommen, zur Behebung
meiner Probleme (direkte HDMI Wahl & “kein Ton nach StandBy”) auf “TPM191E_1.4.100.0”
zurück zu gehen.

Hallo, ich habe mal eine Frage bzgl. der Senderliste. Die Liste habe ich auf einem USB-Stick gesichert. Erstellt mit der aktuellen Firmware TPM191E: 101.1.123.8. Nun möchte ich zurück auf die Firmware TPM191E_1.4.100.0.. Kann ich dann die Senderliste wieder aufspielen?

im Menü, wo du die Kanalliste exportierst, gibt es auch einen Eintrag, wo man die Version der Kanalliste auslesen kann 100.1 oder so…
Wenn diese Version nach dem Downgrade dieselbe ist, sollte es problemlos funktionieren. Also ich gehe davon aus, da sich hier eigentlich nichts ändert.

Ich habe mehrmals versucht bei verschiedenen FW die am anfangs gespeicherte Senderliste zurück zu spielen. Es hat nicht immer geklappt. Also mit Vorsicht zu genießen
@Coni can you confirm please HDMI ARC 5.1 audio working with latest firmware, on yoursurround system?
Yes, it only works with the latest FW on my SONY STR-DN 1000.
To do this, you have to connect the TV to the AV receiver via optical and HDMI connections.
and adjust the SOUND on the TV accordingly
So 5.1 sound coming from optical not from HDMI ARC??

Correct, but in addition to the optical one, the HDMI must be connected at the same time.
Otherwise it won’t work
The optical signal to the external AV receiver is controlled via HDMI.
Did some further tests with 5.1 audio files dowloaded from https://thedigitaltheater.com/dolby-trailers/ ans copied to USB stick.
HDMI/ARC , settings multichannel bypass : works perfect and Pioneer surround system plays 5.1 audio correctly.
So this is proof to me that it is the Philips 55OLED804 latest firmwareTV that is not correctly passing 5.1 audio to HDMI/ARC.
Maybe a handshake issue between different HDMI versions/implementation?
Since TV is only 6 months old , I have inveted Philips service to come and fix the problem .

I have connected the nvidia shield TV 2020 to the TV (Philips 65OLED854 newest firmware). Easylink enabled and optimal settings for HDMI enabled. Tried different HDMI cables. Currently using Belkins Ultra High Speed HDMI-cable HDMI 2.1 2meter).Using netflix on the tv app is working fine but not when playing netflix on shield connected to HDMI.
Colour settings on shield: Match content color space enabled. Current display mode ‘3840×2160 59.940 yuv 422 12bit rec.2020 dolby vision and hdr10’ enabledAs you can see on images. dolby Vision is enabled and the screen have a lot uf purple in it.
