Any more info on this perhaps a date or??
MIch würde Dolby Atmos Unterstutzung mehr freuen, als Android 10.
So ein Kack Amazon Stick für 50€ hat Dolby Atmos und Dolby Vision drauf, und ein Philips Oled für 3000€ kans nicht, obwohl Amazon Stick sogar älter ist.
Und so greife ich immer öfter zur Amazon Fernbedienug und toler Fernseher wird zu Monitor degradiert.
Mich würde es auch interessieren ob es tatsächlich kommt und vor allem ob der kagg Bug weg ist seit ber. 8.0 jab ich ständig Audioaussetzer.
Zudem hoffe ich das upscaling besser funzt, bzw. Bei “älterem” also kein 4k Material…dieses eilige 8bit Farben bei Haaren und dunklen Szenen sich verbessert :-(
It is amazing that Philips does give any attention to this platform. Is there ever any ETA for a update or will it just happen at some point ?
Don’t care if it is 9 or 10…
no updates coming, Philips f***ed up, better to buy Sony, 2017 year model already receiving at least Android 9.

I wrote Philips support about the Android version
The reply:
“I have checked for you and the software version 107.1.136.3 is based on Android version O, Android 8. Our product specialists told me that Android version 9, Pie, will be skipped. Instead of Android version 9, we are in the process of implementing Android Q, version 10. However, no concrete decision has yet been made for this and we are currently still working on it. Unfortunately I don’t have a time indication. I can tell you that with your TV, the Android version does not stop with Android O, version 8. This will be continued in the future.”

I really dont think there will be any official date / timeframe given before the android 10 is released on TPM171E.
Ideally soon but we will not know until it happens..
