Dort lief alles problemlos.

    Danke für Tipps und Hinweise.

    Marcel

    Hi,

My 55POS9002/12 was having a strange behaviour. I have the latest firmware installed.
If I try to customize channels, it basically refreshes the menu and does not do it.
Although annoying, I can live with it.
The problem is that this happens even when I’m not customizing any channels.
I’m just looking at the apps I have and… bum, the TV decides to refresh the menu and I am at the TV initial page.
I change the source to an HDMI input (like PLaystation) and, around one minute after, … back at the initial android menu.
Only if inside an app it does not happen.

Today, I come home, (the kid) watches 20 minutes of Netflix and I turn it off (with the remote, so standby). I turned it on again after dinner and… I can’t use it! It just refreshes the menu.
Now I have no TV!!! :O

You can see with your own eyes what I’m talking about here (link to a video on google drive)

I can access the settings, so I believe I still have a chance of doing something and get this fixed.

    HELP!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

    Hi,

try factory reset and then make sure to set up your TV as “HOME” and not “SHOP MODE”…

    Hi,

    Thank you, Toengel!
I tried that. I tried installing the TV without any cables except the ethernet one, without configuring any TV channels, installing the TV without a google account, even in a different language.
Nothing works! Now, instead of seeing the menu constantly refreshing, in between black screens, the menu shows up quickly once or twice and then it’s just a black screen.
I tried the Netflix button on the remote. It showed Netflix for a few seconds and then it disappeared.
I tried the Philips menu and then configuring the Philips TV Collection: it stays indefinitely establishing a connection to the Philips Smart TV server…

Is there anything else can I try before going to Philips? (I still have it on warranty, as I bought it less than 2 years ago)
Can I flash a firmware (the same), so it does the complete installation from scratch (not a factory reset)?
    Anything that might help… anything!

    Thank you so much.

    Hi,

I decided to try some other things.
I pressed the mic button on the remote. The voice search worked and provided me with a search of the string I spoke on youtube. I did another one, I got other results. I tried to watch a video. I was able to watch the whole 5 minute video and a new started after that (Youtube working fine).
I tried again the Netflix button. When it gets to the point of selecting a 30 day trial or logging in, it now goes back to the Youtube video I was watching.
I guess I don’t have the android menu working, so youtube is now my default thing.
This can’t be that hard to fix, right? Right? I’m going nuts with this…

Thank you so much for your help!

    For my TV, 55POS9002/12 (2017), I believe there’s no Upgrade_Loader to download.
Maybe I misunderstood the instructions (I had to use Google translate, so I’m sorry if I am actually not understanding the process).
I should not downgrade to something outside version 107 of the software, right?
I’m not sure going to something before Oreo is actually good/safe.
I downloaded the TPM171E_107.000.239.004, which is the previous version of the latest one available (and that I have installed), but I believe I need the Upgrade_Loader, right?

Thank you so much for your precious help.
I definitely need to contribute to your coffee…

    Hi,

For my TV, the 55POS9002/12 (2017)?
I couldn’t find it in the old-firmware page. Maybe I’m being dumb, but I’m missing the link.
    From the blog

Thank you so much! Enjoy your coffee ;)
