Hi. I bought 55PUS8303 already with TPM171E _ 107.000.163.002 on Android 8, can someone confirm problem with reading NTFS hard drives and pendrives in all apps (Kodi, MXPlayer, VLC, ES Explorer etc.) except system player it works there you can play 20, 50, 100GB files ? FAT32 works fine, but as we know it is limitted to 4GB. I wrote to philips with this problem and I’m waiting for answer. Reseting TV doesn’t help, I’ve checked permission and everything. On my previous 49PUS8303 on Android 7 it was fine so it doesn’t drives problem and I tried samsung pendrive, wd elements and seagate app doesn’t sees them. I know that on Xiaomi Mi Box 4k on Android 8 there was same problem and they have to release update.

The company had initially hoped to complete the roll-out sometime in the first quarter of 2019 but now expects it to be completed by the end of the second quarter due to some unforeseen issues. The last models to receive the update will be 2018 dual-tuner OLED TVs.”.

Me (65pus8602, last nougat fw) and my friend (65oled873, last nougat fw) have problem with judder in internal apps. For example if I play movie through Kodi, it cant change refresh rate and is locked to 60 fps. It is somehow fault of android tvs (almost all android tvs suffer from this).
In Oreo or Pie, is it going to change? So if Movie is in 24 fps, tv can be changed to 24 Hz and no judder occurs?
Only solution for now is to buy some external device, which supports changing refresh rate (nvidia shield or apple tv 4k). It would be nice if also internal tv apps can do that.

Also LibreELEC system should work, but obviously it cant be installed on TV.

für 2017 á la Philips 65PUS7601 war für 11-2018 Oreo und HDR10+ angekündigt.
Gibt es diesbezüglich Neuigkeiten?

7601 ist ein 2016er und der hat seit Dezember bereits Oreo… und 2016er hat auch kein HDR10+ (HDR10+ gibt es erst ab 2018er der Serie 8xx3 und OLED803/903 und alle 2019er).

Hallo,
ich war am Freitag beim örtlichen Media Markt und ein Herr von TP Vision hat mir gesagt, dass für meinen 65OLED803 das Update für Oreo noch in diesem Monat erscheinen soll. Er hätte diese Info von einer Philips Schulung?!
Ist dies mittlerweile bestätigt? Weiß hier jemand mehr, da andere Quellen ja von Q2/2019 für den Updatezeitpunkt sprechen…
