Well, I’m 809 Ambilight still doesn’t work :/ I think I’m stuck with the factory settings…

Eh, So yeah… Factory reset fixed the ambilight, but only temporarily. After a while, the ambilight turns off on its own… I can’t take it anymore.

Das Problem mit dem nicht funktionierenden Ambilight liegt an der Ambilight Einstellung „Eco-Raumanpassung“. Konnte das jetzt mehrere Male nachstellen. Damit das Ambilight wieder funktioniert:

– im aktuellen Ambilight Profil „Eco-Raumanpassung“ deaktivieren.

– Ambilight komplett deaktivieren

– TV neustarten

– Ambilight wieder im Menü einschalten (Eco-Raumanpassung nicht wieder aktivieren, sonst schaltet Ambilight wieder aus).

Ambilight hat anscheinend in dieser Firmware Version einen glitch. Lief vorher zufriedenzustellend.

Hier ein DEU 809

Problem: Ambilight auf Kino Mode funktioniert bei mir genau so lange, bis ich einmal diese Eco Raumanpassung aktiviere. Dann wird die Helligkeit innerhalb von ca. 10 Sekunden immer weiter runtergesetzt bis Ambilight dann deaktiviert ist, also de facto ausgeschaltet. Da leuchtet gar nichts mehr vom Ambilight.

Das lässt sich auch nicht mehr beheben, außer ich mache einen Neustart des TVs. Dann funktioniert es wieder. Ist bei mir beliebig reproduzierbar. Hab vor 2 Firmware Versionen kompletten Reset durchgeführt, nochmal kommt nicht in Frage.

Ja, die gesamte Helligkeitssteuerung einschließlich ECO-Raumanpassung bei Ambilight funktioniert gar nicht aktuell. Gibt es nichts dran zu diskutieren. Ist ein bug.

Well, I hope they fix it as soon as possible. I also don’t understand the AI ambilight mode. Why isn’t the dimming option enabled by default in dark scenes? It’s only in AI gaming mode this is working

So langsam ist Ambilight von Philips kein Kaufgrund mehr.

Aber haben sie dann selbst schuld

wäre auch mal gut,  wenn eine neue Fw rauskommt,  das dann sofort  dabei steht  , was  die neue Fw  denn macht / behebt,  ausser  wieder neue Fehler zu produzieren

I have bad motion experience with the 55oled809. In 6 months never found a spot in the settings that eliminates the stutter. Sometimes its good, next day it is bad again. I use the app of my tv provider on the google platform of the tv. But even with an external google tv box connected on hdmi, the stutter is there. When using the in build chromecast the image is worst, it is choppy then. Watching football is not pleasant then.

@cinek  What are your motion settings? And do you recognize I wrote above?.

I got a question I went into the service menu home +1999 and return and by accident I enabled virgin mode,

The TV did a factory reset…  But it works

 

Did it do some stuff I don’t know with virgin mode or is it only factory reset?

 

My hours on time etc are not reset

@ron My motion settings are in manual mode and all are set to 5. I haven’t noticed any motion issues so far. The only thing is that when watching Dolby Vision, a green slightly thick light will sometimes randomly appear.

Hat noch jemand einen Tipp, wie am HDMI2 des 808 wieder OSD oder Menü des AVR Denon angezeigt werden kann?

Wie kommt Ihr denn ins Menü des AVR, wenn der am HDMI2 des TV hängt (alle Geräte am 808 angeschlossen) ?

Oder einen Tipp zu einer fehlerfreien Version zum downgraden?

Oder sollte ich mir zu Weihnachten doch lieber einen LG gönnen?
