… ich habe schon jetzt Angst, die nächste Firmware zu flashen. Dieses ewige Downgraden wird langsam zur sportlichen Routine.

Naja Philips verweist ja selber auf Downgrades bei Problemen.

Dadurch das es für die eine Lösung darstellt (was ja auch stimmt), hat das alles keine Eile.

Als Kunde erwarte ich ein Gerät mit einer gut durchgetesteten Firmware. Und wenn keine seit Kauf im Juni 2025 bis dato zufriedenstellend gearbeitet hat, inklusive der erst-ausgelieferten, dann kann Philips froh sein, wenn sie ihre Kisten nicht massenweise zurückgesendet bekommen. Der Kunde hat hier schließlich auch Rechte.

Die SW-Entwicklungsabteilung macht einfach keinen guten Job, die Testabteilung auch nicht (falls überhaupt vorhanden).

Das Philips es nicht eilig hat, merkt man.

Hello, I don’t know how to downgrade my oled810 to the firmware mentioned (TPM231WW_R201.100.107.002).
Will you be releasing firmware to fix this HDMI CEC issue soon?
If not, what is the procedure for downgrading my TV to this firmware (and where can I get it)?

The fix for the HDMI CEC issue is currently being developed and will be released as soon as it is ready.

Downgrading the firmware is not possible on Philips TVs, so it is not possible to install version TPM231WW_R201.100.107.002.

We invite you to wait for the next official update.

Their useless response makes me laugh.
In any case, I downgraded to 002 (thanks @toutoune28) and no longer have any of these problems.
They’re just incompetent at Philips.

Hy ! I have just sent another message to Philips support regarding the HDMI CEC issues. The last one was closed due to a lack of response from me… you know… unplugging the TV, etc.

I also mentioned firmware no. TPM231WW_R201.100.107.002, which does not have HDMI CEC issues, and asked them if I could install it.

Ich habe von Version 201.100.146.207 auf 201.100.146.220 aktualisiert.

Kann ich auf Version 201.100.107.002 zurückgehen (ich hatte sie zuvor nie installiert) und anschließend erneut auf 201.100.146.207 aktualisieren?

Alternativ: Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, die Option „OBR“ zu verwenden, um von Version .220 auf .207 zurückzukehren, wenn ich nach dem Update auf .220 einen Werksreset durchgeführt habe?

Downgrade kommt aufs TV-Modell an – schau in das Changelog…

OBR geht nur zu letzten Firmware, die installiert war, zurück… siehe Firmware Installationshistorie auf deinem TV…

Die Update-Historie lautet:

• 201.100.146.207 u2
• 201.100.146.220 u3

Bitte teilen Sie mir mit, ob ich weiterhin „OBR“ verwenden kann, um auf Version .207 zurückzukehren, wenn ich den Fernseher unter der Softwareversion .220 auf die Werkseinstellungen zurückgesetzt habe, oder ob ich gezwungen bin, ein USB-Gerät zu verwenden.

HDMI CEC and power supply issues.

The first could be resolved by an update, but the second (too frequent refreshes—several times a week) is not normal.

In addition to noise when extending and turning on.

Update really not up to standard, but customer service still up to standard!

I hope these issues will be resolved with an update, as I remain convinced that they don’t want to test their firmware in accordance with those for whom—you!—buy this product.
