Hello Sir,
Thank you very much for contacting Philips TV Support.
We also confirm that the TPM231WW_R201.100.107.002 firmware does not have the black screen issue related to the HDMI‑CEC functionality. Your observation is therefore correct, and this behavior is expected with this software version.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require any further information.
Me (even though toutoune28 told us how to do it, it’s just to tease the beast)
Hello, I don’t know how to downgrade my oled810 to the firmware mentioned (TPM231WW_R201.100.107.002).
Will you be releasing firmware to fix this HDMI CEC issue soon?
If not, what is the procedure for downgrading my TV to this firmware (and where can I get it)?
Thank you in advance for your prompt response.
Best regards
eux
The fix for the HDMI CEC issue is currently being developed and will be released as soon as it is ready.
Downgrading the firmware is not possible on Philips TVs, so it is not possible to install version TPM231WW_R201.100.107.002.
We invite you to wait for the next official update.
Their useless response makes me laugh.
In any case, I downgraded to 002 (thanks @toutoune28) and no longer have any of these problems.
They’re just incompetent at Philips.
