seit .207 Maximale Helligkeit und Farbsättigung beim 810/12 und 910/12 stark reduziert (ca. 50 %)

seit .220 Ambilight Eco-Bug Fehler (Helligkeit lässt sich nicht mehr verstellen, Ambilight dimmt von allein herunter) bei 2024/2023 Modellen (nicht aber bei Old 810 oder 910)

danke.    Das mit  der  Limitierung der  Nits  bei den älteren Firmwares  betraf aber  nur den  910 , nicht den 909, oder ?

I have 809 (2024) model, it came with Android 12.

Now i have the lastest Android 12 firmware, so far i will not go back to Android 14 since it has too many bugs. I will test OTA update when Ambilight etc. is fixed.

I always prefer files with Dolby Vision but sometimes theres only HDR10(+) available. Im always watching the “correct” format since Kodi supports both.

I also tried a Shield and a Apple TV with my Samsung T7 Shield ext. SSD and got same issues with Android 14.

Do you also use a USB drive or how you “transport” the .mkv to the TV?

I just played dexter on the shield with stremio (LINK REMOVED)

And haven’t seen it maybe it’s because I didn’t watch to long, 99% of my content is dolby vision.

 

I do play games with a pc tho like I said and that’s only hdr10 and have never seen the hdr artifact but maybe it must doesn’t show up on games, but that’s makes no sense hdr10 is hdr10,

Maybe game mode the processing is different I would say try game mode while watching the content so we can confirm if it’s a processing bug in the TV because in game mode there is almost 0 processing

No, in Dolby Vision the TV works perfectly. If any content would be DV… Oh boy. Best picture picture and smooth processing overall. SDR is also no problem. It is really only HDR10 and HDR10+. By the way I only use normal streaming apps and Blu Rays.

In another comment you wrote about the Game Mode. I tested Watching HDR10 Content with it and there is something different to Filmmaker Mode even with motion smoothing on it is better in game and monitor mode BUT that does remove the Black Artefacts. Also funny thing. Motion smoothing in game mode on all setting from low to high look the same to me. Even with test videos I could not find a difference in pacing.

Kann man “Spiel” etwa immer auswählen? Also im standard Video Player und anderen Apps oder geht das nur bei HDMI Nutzung?

Verstehe ich das richtig das du sagst bei “Spiel” ist das Problem behoben und funktioniert sogar besser?

Sorry, autokorrektur hat zugeschlagen. IT DOES NOT REMOVE THE BLACK ARTEFACTS!

ES BEHEBT NICHT DEN FEHLER MIT SCHWARZEN ARTEFAKTEN!

Also ich kann jederzeit HDR Game und HDR Monitor auswählen. Und es behebt das zittern in einigen Szenen, wenn Motion Smoothing AN ist. Deswegen meine Vermutung, dass irgendwas im Hintergrund noch arbeitet. Sonst kann ich mir nicht erklären, warum Motion Smoothing so viel sauberer in Dolby Vision und SDR läuft. Ich hab mir den TV gerade deshalb gekauft, weil das Motion Smoothing besser als beim LG G5 ist und nur vom Panasonic Z95B geschlagen wird… Mir üppigen Preisaufschlag.

Ah also a smooth lotion user i also like it I know it isn’t how it should he using smooth motion to the smoothest setting but I like 24fps content being up scaled to 60 haha.

But still weird you have the same tv right 810? I have never seen the hdr artifacting while gaming in hdr mode with a pc.

Kodi unterstützt VRR, passt den TV von der hz an das Bildmaterial an sodass man eig. kein Motion-Smoothing braucht wenn man das normale “Kino Erlebnis” haben will.

Ja, der AppleTV hat auch FrameMatching und der Panasonic macht 24Hz Ausgabe. Ich mag das Ruckeln und flimmern der Kameraschwenks nicht, weshalb ich auf Motion Smoothing angewiesen bin.

Ja die Limitierung der max. Nits betrifft nur den 910/12 und wahrscheinlich auch den 950/12, nicht aber die älteren Modelle.
