I am really disappointed to learn that this new version does not solve the HDMI CEC issues…
I don’t think it will ever be solved!
My last Philips! That’s for sure!
I’m going to try installing it anyway and resetting all the devices (TV, amplifier, Apple TV), but I don’t have much hope…
Schade… ich hatte gehofft, dass man die Dopplung des (bei mir) HDMI2 (da hängt ein VRRoom dran) wieder zurücknimmt.
Kein Firmwareupdate für die Fernbedienung meines 809ers !
I also received the update here in Spain without any issues. I’ve only tested the superficially so far. Maybe more slower. SkyShowtime is still only outputting stereo sound instead of Dolby Digital. I haven’t received a remote control update either. Mine is an 819 OLED.

- shutdown
- pull power cord for 3-5 minutes
- restart

Maybe the SkyShowtime App needs to be updated (Amazon Prime app had similar issues in the last months)
Regarding the RC updates: Please check your model and version in the TV menu, where you can update the RC manually… and compare the current version with the list in my blogpost.

The installation, waiting for optimization, and advice from our friend Alex did not allow me to recover a working HDMI CEC…
I still see the name of my amplifier and the HDMI 2 ghost on HDMI 2…
In short, it’s still the same… I have to use the remote control to select the source… I’ll try resetting everything later…
Hi, seit dem Update auf TPM231WW: 201.100.146.220 geht bei unserem 55OLED909 das Ambilight nicht mehr. Hat jemand das gleiche Problem? Ausschalten und vom Strom nehmen war erfolglos.
Did you follow Alex’s recommendations? Unplugged the TV.
If so, did you try resetting the TV?

Did you already test the HDR black artifacts issue?
(appears only in UHD-BD rips, Netflix etc. is fine and Dolby Vision is also fine)

Was ist den der Unterschied zwischen Standard und AI Ambilight-Stil?
Was empfehlt ihr mir denn?
