also ich kann in jeder Quelle die Farbe regulieren. Hab aber auch einen Downgrade gemacht. Evtl. ist bei dir Farboptimierung an geschaltet?

@Whitesnuf: Interessanter Link auf Golem.
Bei mir (55OLED804 mit der aktuellen Firmware 101.1.123.8) ist es so, dass ich bei Netflix mit Dolby Vision (also 4K) streamen kann (Signal plus deutlich schärferes Bild), hingegen bei Amazon Prime nach wie vor kein HDR bekomme bzw. auch kein 4K (was man ebenfalls dem Bild ansieht).
Der Verweis auf das DRM als Philips-spezifisches Problem klingt trotzdem nicht unplausibel, auch wenn es im Golem-Artikel heißt, dass sowohl Prime als auch Netflix (und Disney+, was ich aber nicht nutze) betroffen seien.
Mal schauen ob dies wirklich von Philips über ein zukünftiges Firmware-Update behoben werden kann.

I have 65oled854 with newest firmware 101.001.123.008. The tv restarts itself from time to time. Often it cant be turned on with remote, have to remove the power cord first. Netflix and other apps suddenly crashes. ARC and easylink doesnt work (only half of the time. Horrible!!!

vielen Dank für Deinen Hinweis – ich habe es heute hinbekommen – eventuell hat auch noch das Udate geholfen. Die Farbe lässt sich jetzt regeln – allerdings die Android-Oberfläche (inkl. der Apps) bleibt gleich – ist aber kein Problem.

Jetzt bräuchte ich noch eine Lösung für die dauerhafte Wahl des Eingangs (HDMI – mit SAT-Receiver) – den fast jedes mal wird der interne SAT-Receiver beim einschalten des TVs gestartet – statt des HDMI-Eingangs (beim letzten ausschalten des TVs). Gibt es dafür eine Einstellung am Gerät?

Setup : 55OLED804 + surround Pioneer VSX-529 .
OLED firmware 101.001.123.008 now installed.

* HDMI/ARC 5.1 audio ( multichannel or multichannel bypass) no longer working. (NETFLIX, Rakuten TV, …)
* Only stereo via HDMI/ARC works or 5.1 audio via optical works fine but no Easylink/CEC possible via optical.
* I noticed in this thread # 190283 @Conie claimed this HDMI/ARC issue was resolved in 101.1.123.008 version? Confirmed?
* .AVI movies no longer play. Support for AVI removed ?

* Seems like this firmware has some more settings for DOLBY VISION ( dark, light , …)
* Improved message (now delay 5 min before shutdown ) for anti screen burn-in.

Since HDMI/ARC 5.1 audio is of utmost importance to me I consider downgrading to 004.100.000 version.
Need confirmation that HDMI/ARC 5.1 audio works correctly in this version?

which codec do the AVI files have? Is it DivX? You can find out with the open source tool Mediainfo:

well…

Philips has to remove support for XVID:

Codec ID : XVID
Codec ID/Hint : XviD

As you can see in the official changelog of the latest TPM187E firmware (also Mediatek chipset), XVID was also removed on other 2018 TVs:

Remove support of AVI file using XVID codec with DivX-style Packed Bit stream.

Philips: Neue Firmware für 2018er SAPHI TV-Serien (TPM187E: 28.5.46.1)

Not sure, what is the reason, but XVID was often used for illegal stuff (maybe even XVID used some patented algorithms – who knows).
