So I have followed the instructions to downgrade the firmware but the TV will not see the usb stick after a full power reset, if I go to firmware upgrade and select usb it see the files but won’t load them from there.

which file are you using for the downgrade? It must be a .pkg file.
Please do not rename the unzipped .pkg file …

Otherwise, just try again as described in the instructions in the firmware archive (disconnect from power or, if the firmware is not loaded when restarting, switch to standby again via remote control and then start from standby …).

Just for my information: why do you want to downgrade?

Megerősítem, hogy a 092.200 nem jó, nálam is Philips logó után lehal a tv (58PUS8505), kétszer is megtörtént. Második után már csak az itt letölthető “upgrade_loader” tudta a tv-t feléleszteni, mert a philips logo sem jött be. Most a 088.000-raktam fel, csak hiába tiltottam le az automatikus frissítést, feldobálja az ablakot minden bekapcsolás után, hogy van új frissítés. Ezt kell letiltanom valahogy (pl router…)

I confirm that 092.200 is not correct; my TV (58PUS8505) also shuts down after the Philips logo appears. This has happened twice. After the second time, only the “upgrade_loader” available for download here was able to revive the TV, because even the Philips logo did not appear. Now I have installed 088.000, but even though I have disabled automatic updates, a window pops up every time I turn it on, saying that there is a new update. I need to disable this somehow (e.g. router…).

Ich habe die Anweisungen befolgt und es hat wieder funktioniert, aber es muss erneut aktualisiert worden sein, da es ein paar Tage später wieder nicht mehr funktionierte. Jetzt scheint das Downgrade nicht mehr zu funktionieren, das Philips-Logo verschwindet nicht und die LED blinkt ständig. Gibt es eine Lösung?

Ich hab zwar nicht ganz verstanden, was du warum gemacht hast, geh aber mal davon dein TV momentan hängt und nicht mehr startet.

Mach folgendes:

Schau dir zuerst einmal im Firmware-Archiv die Erläuterung zum ORB (Ons Button Reset) an.

Nimm danach den TV für ein paar Minuten vom Strom, also Stecker raus. Starte dann neu.

Wenn der TV dann immer noch hängt, also weiterhin mehrere Minuten das Philips Logo zeigt und nichts passiert (etwas Geduld aufbringen und mal drei Minuten warten), dann führe den ORB so wie beschrieben aus. Danach sollte der TV dann wieder starten (auch hier wieder etwas Geduld). Falls er auch ohne ORB nach dem stromlos machen startet, musst du natürlich keinen ORB machen…

Prüf danach unter Software-Update welche Firmware Version drauf ist, davon hängt dann ab, wie es dann bei dir weiter geht. Das besprechen wir dann.

Melde dich, wenn du so weit bist.

Ich meinte natürlich OBR (One Button Reset): versteht sich aber wohl auch von selber…
