OLED803. Such a weird thing to introduce in the late 2018 firmware eg. force to control headphone volume from within a menu setting instead of the volume buttons as before.

Because of this i have downgraded to the fall 2018 firmware. As everything android sucks i run everything via an AppleTV. But still it feels kind of wrong to introduce such a bad setting.

hab eine frage
oled 873 mit onkyo tx nr646
ich weis hier ist schon einiges über tonaussetzer geschrieben worden und alle haben kopfweh von diesem thema.
leider bin ich nicht gerade eine technik leuchte.
über netflix manche videos youtube und ps4 pro unregelmässige tonaussetzer seit kurzem hatte das früher nicht bilde ich mir zumindest ein.egal ob dolby,dts, stereo nur wenn ich auf direct stelle passiert das nicht.
habe extra ältere software lassen weil hier schon einiges an problemen geschrieben wurde.
hat die neueste software immer noch diese fehler mit dem ton oder bild?
ich habe softwarestand:tpm171e_r.107.000.230.000

the sub menu setting for headphone volume control is the standard function in all Philips TVs (past and future). However, in 2018 this was a “bug”, that the volume could be controlled via RC… they “fixed” it with Oreo…

habe einen Philips 65PUS8102/12, habe seit längerer Zeit, die Schwierigkeit keine Disney App mehr zum laufen zu bekommen. Habt Ihr vielleicht ne Idee. Philips hat keinen wirklichen Support welcher einem helfen würde und Online ist auf die schnelle nichts zufinden. Rebook, deinstallation, Internet Cache löschen funktioniert nicht. Habt Ihr ne Idee oder habe nur ich diese Phänomen :-)

After the update my TV went into infinite bootloop.

I was quite happy to read here that the Upgrade_loader could probably save my television.

Hey guys. I have this problem where I cant keep network configuration between sleep states.
When I set static IP and DNS it works until Tv is powered off. When powered on network conf is set on DHCP.
Anyone with the same problem?

I’ve contacted Philips support regarding android 9 pie for 7303 series, and they confirmed there is no plan in the near future to upgrade to android 9 on this platform.

That’s really sad and confusing, because in 2019 they said it would be available for all 2018 TV’s via a software update

Regarding Pie – I really don’t think the customer service knows when new firmware is released. Atleast last i spoke they they they did not know when Oreo would be released.
I was then released the next day.. so at least the DK service support have no inside regarding firmware releases

Hello Alex (toengel),

I myself have a 55PUS7303 and would like to downgrade to the most resent version of android 7.0 because 7.0 still allows miracast, which android 8.0 does not. Unfortunately the mirrorlinks are all dead for this model. Could you perhaps send me a working link to the most resent android 7.0 version so i can downgrade?

Or do you have an idea how i can activate miracast under android 8.0?

If you need to use miracast from w10 or Linux, you can easly use chromecast fonctionnilty directly from Chrome, Brave, etc…
I used it to share my w10 desktop (included sound).
