Bei meinem 803 das selbe Verhalten mit Tonaussetzern auf Netflix (eigentlich durchgehend seit über einem Jahr, egal mit welcher Firmware).

Ich beobachte seit einigen Wochen auf Netflix außerdem hin und wieder dünne horizontale Streifen welche ein schwarz/weißes Rauschmuster beinhalten und für den Bruchteil einer Sekunde hin und wieder aufflackern.
Als Fazit muss man leider festhalten, dass der Fernseher weder Ton noch Video fehlerfrei wiedergeben kann. Und man schafft es auch in über einem Jahr nicht Updates rauszubringen, welche diese Fehler korrigieren. Als Wiedergabegerät ist der Fernseher somit eigentlich nicht geeignet.
So schön dass Ambilight auch sein mag, mein nächster Fernseher wird sicher von einem anderen Hersteller mit hoffentlich weniger Software-Problemen sein.

Wenn Amazon die Reparatur nicht hinbekommt, bekomme ich scheinbar mein Geld zurück – könnte dann auf den 804er wechseln und würde sogar noch Geld sparen ;-) Sind von diesem ähnliche Probleme bekannt?
aber es betrifft ja scheinbar nicht alle TVs der X03er Serie.

Mich wundert, dass das Thema nicht viel “heißer gekocht” wird, für mich ist ein TV heutzutage eigentlich nur noch eine Streaming Abspielstation, dass sollte dann aber auch klappen ;-)

Now that I updated 8102’s fw to the latest oreo from nougat it is obvious that the TV is no longer able to decode DD+ to DD and send it via ARC to the AVR. (I think Stefan is talking about the same issue in the previous page). It used to do this with Nougat. So with nougat ARC (with DD audio) and hdmi cec worked pretty good, albeit some audio dropouts in netflix with HDR programs.. My AVR (pioneer vsx-421) does not support DD+ via ARC, nor via optical, only thru Bluray players etc. connected to a hdmi in port.

By using TOSLINK (optical audio) the TV does send DD+ audio as DD to my AVR and I can watch Netflix with 5.1 audio yet again.
But the problem is that HDMI CEC is now pretty useless. The only thing that it does correctly now is that it puts AVR to standby when I put TV to standby. So it does not wake the AVR nor can I control volume with TV’s remote control.

Is there anything I can do to remedy this? I would at least like to wake the AVR same time as the TV. I suppose volume control is out of the question with optical connection, although I was hoping CEC would still do the trick.

CEC issue Pioneer AVR.
Try using a HDMI splitter/CEC throughput, cost almost nothing and only sends CEC signal to AVR.
The DD NETFLIW audio 5.1 still via optical/TOSLinkconnected to Pioneer AVR.

Hallo an alle,

funktioniert bei euch Wake on LAN bzw. das Einschalten über die App wenn der Fernseher per Kabel am Netzwerk hängt noch? Bei mir geht das schon seit einigen Versionen nicht mehr und der Support antwortet überhaupt nicht mehr.

Wäre schön zu erfahren ob das an meinem Gerät liegt oder ob die Firmware eine Macke hat. Falls das jemand testen kann wäre das super.

Raven: Are you suggesting that a HDMI splitter would work like this;
TV (arc enabled) connected with HDMI to a HDMI splitter and from HDMI splitter an optical to AVR and a HDMI to AVR (which would only transfer CEC signal)? Philips does not encode DD+ to DD via ARC so the splitter would have to do that…

I am a bit skeptical that it would work. I have to look in to it. Any recommendations for a such splitter?

Indeed, I was initially thinking of a HDMI/CEC killer plug, but now I understand you need excactly the opposite only CEC passthrough. This type of splitter , I think does not exist.

Try connecting Pioneer AVR both with TV HDMI 1/ARC (to be able to use CEC wake-up signal) + also connect optical cable for your DD audio signal.
The TV HDMI 1/ARC with CEC will wake-up your AVR and switch to this HDMI input input. This is not what you want but I think this is inherent to HDMI/CEC control functions . It cannot be changed.
You need manually to tahn swith AVR to Optical input (TOSLINK). :-(

Also have a look at HDMI setup in the TV settings : try switching the HDMI-1&2 in the TV setup to UHD OFF.

If I connect TV with ARC (sound settings, audio out option: HDMI sound system) to the AVR then I can not manually change AVR input to optical no more. Pioneer does not let one do that. It recognizes that HDMI is in use and locks the input to that. And all the sound comes from TV speakers (if ARC is off in the AVR settings). If instead of “HDMI sound system” I choose TV speakers OFF then it breaks the CEC.

I tried the UHD off thingy with HDMI1&2 but to no use.

I reckon I have at least 4 working options;
1. Buy another AVR that supports DD+ thru ARC.
2. Buy a Logitech Harmony remote control
3. Hope that Philips fixes the DD+ to DD conversion with ARC in next FW.
4. Downgrade FW to Nougat where DD+ to DD conversion works.

I was hoping to find some alternative 5th option for a workaround just to get the AVR to wake up with CEC.

Ich habe Probleme mit dem Modell 49PUS6412. Ich verwende den USB-Assistenten seit zwei Jahren für Google Assistant und das Mikrofon funktioniert seit einiger Zeit nicht mehr. Nach dem Wiederherstellen der Werkseinstellungen funktioniert es. Wenn der Fernseher jedoch einige Stunden lang ausgeschaltet bleibt, funktioniert das Mikrofon nicht mehr.
Hat jemand dies schon getroffen?
