      Hi,

“._upgrade_loader.pkg” does not exist… I think, this is only some renaming of the same file…

        Thanks,

        I have now tried with:

        – Usb2 16gb

        – Usb2 8gb

        – Usb2 4gb

        – Two different Usb2 used

        – Microsd with usb adapter

        Every time result is same.

        What I do:

        1. Take out power plug

        2. Insert USB2 to USB2 port

        3. Plug in power plug

        4. Software upgrade in progress text comes immediately and stays on

        Tried also the following:

        1. Plug in power

        2. Philips logo comes on, goes away and comes back again and stays on

        3. Power plug off

        4. Insert USB

        5. Power plug in

        6. Software upgrade in progress text comes immediately and stays on

Any ideas what to try next?

What is the autorun.upg used for?

            Hi,

autorun.upg is the normal update file (for offline environments). This file is also downloaded when the TV updates itself to a newer firmware version…

The fun started a few days ago. I’ve resetted the TV because I wanted to use a Fire TV Stick 4K Max instead of the slow and outdated interface. It worked perfectly, except for strange picture glitches during startup. The home screen and movies played via the Fire TV Stick were fine, though. I read about HDMI handshake problems, changed a few settings, but without much success. I unplugged the stick to try a different HDMI port, and since then I’ve had no picture at all. The TV starts up, the Philips logo appears, then it’s just black. The Ambilight lights up and stays on, but nothing else happens—no overlays like settings, nothing. I can’t turn it off with the remote, but holding the button down brings up a colorful artwork:

It looked similar when the Fire TV Stick started up, but everything was fine in the menu and when watching movies.

If anyone has any ideas, I’d be very grateful. I’ve already reset the firmware (via USB, and it completed successfully), but that didn’t help. Could it be the TCON or the mainboard?

                Hello there.

I got a problem with my 65oled803 that seems to die. First of all, I did a factory reset because I was going to use an Amazon Fire TV stick 4K Max (2nd generation). Now the TV begun to struggle some days ago, showing strange pixels all over the screen when starting but homescreen on fire tv stick was always fine, also if we watched movies. Was thinking about a HDMI handshake problem, changed some settings and umplugged the stick. Now, TV is starting, showing the Philips logo and screen goes black. I can see anything, options won’t open, just nothing. When pushing the power button on remote control for some longer time, I get the funny coloured screen again.

For any suggestions/help I would be thankful.

                Thanks in advance!

                Regards

                Tom
