Under the two year warranty I had a screen replaced in November on a 55” ‘The One’ and also the main board. I had random coloured lines across the screen as it had failed in parts and I was also having problems with the homescreen channels not updating on Freeview UK. That area at the top showing what programmes were on right now were constantly getting stuck on programmes from earlier in the morning. They don’t refresh like they should meaning all those programmes were from six hours ago!
I also had issues with the TAB8995 soundbar outputting whatever channel it decided it wanted to. They replaced the main board but the issues still remain. I want to see if this update fixes any of these. I said it was software and they believed it was hardware.
