    This is also my finding: very often, the TV does not go “on” when the Apple TV is switched “on”. However, if the TV was “off” for only a short time, the TV goes “on” when then Apple TV is switched “on”. My idea is that this is due to a kind of “deep sleep state” of the TV and then it only reacts on its own RC and not on HDMI-CEC “on”.
