I did have some issues with Subwoofer popping noise and high pitched noises from the soundbar but this was not related to firmware but instead to bad capacitors.
After exchange of some capacitors (mainly in the Voltage Step-Down converter circuits of the main bar and of the surround speakers), it is now working very well again.
