Hi ! First of all, thank you for maintaining this website alive !

My question is simple, i’ve got a 50PUS8505. Since the beginning i’ve been disappointed with the removal of some of the 2019 ambilight styles when they unified firmware for 2019/2020 series.

=> TPM191E _ 101.001.079.005 – Date: 2020/08/03

“Remove some Ambilight styles in 2k19 range (unification with 2k20 range)”.

My question is simple. Do you think its possible to install a firmware made for the 2019 model on a 2020 model ?

Specifically this one :
<p class=”p1″>TPM191E _ 001.004.100.000 – Date: 2020/07/01</p>
Hope to get an answer before i try and probably kill my TV in the process.
