As per 1st of January 2016, Gibson (responsible for Philips AVM branded devices) has decided to no longer support Smart TV on the Philips branded AVM Blu-Ray, HTS and HMP devices.
As a consequence, since last Friday 29th of January, Smart TV is no longer available on the Philips branded AVM Blu-Ray, HTS and HMP devices.
Customers will see the message “To complete Smart TV sign-in, please switch your TV set off and on again” when accessing Smart on these devices.”

Update 1 (3.2.2016): Ich habe oben die Liste mit Links ergänzt, die einige Geräte mit Firmware-Updates (die via USB verfügbar sind, nicht via Online-Update) versehen, bei dem das SmartTV auf YouTube, Netflix (bei unterstützten Geräten) und Open Internet reduziert wird. Alle anderen Geräte, bekommen nur die oben genannte Fehlermeldung und gar keinen SmartTV-Zugang mehr.
Update 2 (3.2.2016): Das oben zitierte Statement, welches sowohl im deutschen, als auch englischen Philips Forum veröffentlicht wurde, wurde inzwischen wieder entfernt. Scheinbar wird es kein öffentliches Statement geben.
Update 3 (14.4.2016): Im Support-Forum gibt es was Offizielles .
