Philips: UHD880 ist Geschichte, aber…

der im September 2014 angekündigte HEVC-Ultra-HD-Mediaplayer UHD880 , für den man sich in einem Aktionszeitraum als Käufer 2014er Philips UHD-TV-Modelle als kostenlose Beigabe registrieren konnte und deren Auslieferung sich mehrfach verschoben hat, hat ein jähes Ende gefunden und ist somit Geschichte und wird nicht ausgeliefert. Der Philips Mediaplayer UHD880 mit HEVC wird nicht ausgeliefert.
Als gut informierter Philips Blogger, kann ich sagen, dass alle diejenigen, die ihr TV-Gerät für eine UHD880 registriert hatten, einen Ersatz bekommen: Die NVidia Shield Android TV Box . Zusätzlich gibt es noch den passenden Game Controller dazu. Die Auslieferung beginnt noch in diesem Jahr.

Wir freuen uns bekannt zugeben, dass wir in Zusammenarbeit mit NVIDIA die NVIDIA Shield mit Controller anstelle der UHD Box versenden können. Durch die Auslieferung dieses Mediaplayers, sind Sie in der Lage 4k Inhalte wiederzugeben. Diese Box ermöglicht 4k Streaming, moderne Spiele und funktioniert auf Android Basis. Sie enthält Ihre favorisierten Apps wie Netflix 4k, Youtube, KODI(XBMC), und PLEX.
