da nun endlich die neuen TV-Geräte auf Fusion-Chip-Basis (2012er TVs ab der 6000er Serie) in die Läden kommen, wollte ich mir persönlich mal einen Eindruck verschaffen, um ein wenig mitreden zu können.
So habe ich mich in einen Elektronikgroßfachmarkt in meiner Nähe begeben und mich umgeschaut. Nach etwa 10 Minuten des Ablaufens der TV-Reihen musste ich dann doch nochmal einen Angestellten (ich habe jetzt mit Absicht nicht “Verkäufer” geschrieben) fragen, ob und wo ich eines dieser neuen Geräte sehen kann. Nach Rückfrage eines anderen Mitarbeiters wurde mir dann in einer Ecke zwischen ein paar TV-Paletten die neue Generation gezeigt.
Wie so üblich, wurde das Bildsignal über 100 verschiedene HDMI-Splitter eingespeist. Nach meiner Rückfrage, ob man nicht direkt ein TV-Signal via DVB-Tuner bekommen könnte, wurde dies verneint. Fazit: 50 Prozent des TVs nicht testbar! Fail!
Die nächste Frage, ob man vielleicht den TV mal ins Internet hängen könnte, wurde auch verneint. Fazit: weitere 25 Prozent des TVs nicht testbar! Fail!
Also gut, dachte ich mir, dass ich ja wenigstens die passive 3D-Technik mal probieren könnte (aber auch nur, da ich weiß, dass der TV 3D beherrscht). Nach einer gefühlten halben Stunde habe ich dann bei einem anderen passiven 3D-TV einer anderen Marke eine 3D-Brille gefunden. Zurück am Philips-TV ging es nun ans Testen. Da man nur ein Signal via HDMI bekommen konnte, war es an der Zeit die 2D-zu-3D-Konvertierung zu prüfen. Da fällt mir doch noch auf, wie bescheuert der TV platziert wurde. Das TV-Display stand irgendwo auf Höhe meines Bauchnabels – jedoch nicht mal in der Nähe meines Kopfes. Jeder, der sich schon einmal mit der passiven 3D-Technik auseinandergesetzt hat, weiß, dass man senkrecht (in der Vertikalen) auf den TV schauen muss, um das passive 3D richtig beurteilen zu können. Also musste ich mich dann doch noch irgendwie auf den Fußboden hocken, um mir einen 3D-Eindruck zu verschaffen.
Halt! Da war ja noch was… Wir reden ja hier von einem TV von Philips. Hmm… was war nochmal das Alleinstellungmerkmal? Ja, richtig – Ambilight… Wenn ich es nicht wissen würde, wär mir das nie aufgefallen, dass der TV Ambilight hat. Wie auch, wenn der TV frei im Raum steht. Fail!
Fazit: Von den gefühlten 15 Prozent, die ich beurteilen konnte (Software und 3D), kann ich schon behaupten, dass dies ein großer Fortschritt gegenüber den Vorgänger-TVs ist. Aber ich hätte schon gern die restlichen 85 Prozent getestet. Auch wär ich gern mal mit ‘nem Klappspaten durch die Führungsetage dieses Geschäfts gegangen – das würde vielleicht helfen, die Verkaufszahlen zu verbessern.
