Philips TV 2026: Neue Prozessoren (SoC) für Titan OS-basierte TVs in Europa?

Philips Titan OS 2025: Mediatek SoC (KI generated)

wie ich gehört habe, wird es nach längerer Zeit für die auf Titan OS-basierten Philips TV-Serien im nächsten Jahr einen Herstellerwechsel bei den eingesetzten Prozessoren (SoC, System-on-a-Chip) in Europa geben. Die bisher eingesetzten SoCs von Novatek werden somit abgelöst.
Novatek NT72676, Firmware TPN258E
Novatek NT72690 (4K Version), Firmware TPN256E
Novatek NT72690 (2K Version, also FHD bzw. HD TVs), Firmware TPN257E
Die Chips unterscheiden sich u.A. in der Unterstützung für HDR- und Ton-Formate sowie AirPlay (siehe 2025er Philips TV Übersicht ).
Wie es nun aussieht, werden die oben genannten Chips nun durch Mediatek-SoCs ersetzt:

Letzterer MT9676 konnte sich bereits dieses Jahr in Lateinamerika als SoC für Titan OS beweisen.
Ich persönlich hoffe, dass die TVs einen gewissen Performance-Schub dadurch erhalten (klar, man sollte für die ganz kleinen Serien bei dem jeweiligen Preissegment nicht viel erwarten) – wünschenswert wäre u.A. aber auch mehr RAM. Nach meinem letzten MM-Besuch war ich schon nach kurzer Zeit ein wenig von der Reaktionsgeschwindigkeit genervt (gut, es war ein 6000er TV). Ich hätte ja gern mal einen High-End Titan OS TV im Vergleich probiert, aber der 6000er war der einzige Titan OS-TV vor Ort (dafür gab’s den OLED810 mal zum Anfassen).
Noch als Disclaimer: Ob sich diese Informationen auch als richtig erweisen, muss sich noch zeigen – beim MT9620 bin ich mir nicht so sicher (könnte auch die 2K Version im Low-Level-Bereich). Durch fehlende offen zugängliche Informationen zum MT9620 kann ich das aktuell schwer richtig bewerten.
