Philips 2019: Alle 2019er Android TVs erhalten DTS Play-Fi via Update

im September 2019 habe ich berichtet, dass 2020er Philips Android TVs die Unterstützung für DTS Play-Fi erhalten. Wie Philips nun verkündet, werden auch alle 2019er Philips Android TVs diese Funktion per Update erhalten.
So wird es im zweiten Halbjahr 2020 ein Update für die 2019er Androiden kommen, welches wohl die Firmware der 2019er and die 2020er Philips TVs angleicht. Beide werden dann dieselbe Firmware nutzen (Software-Plattform TPM191E). Aktuell laufen bereits beide Jahrgänge auf dieser Software-Plattform, nutzen jedoch unterschiedliche Software-Branches. Das selbe Vorgehen fand auch bei den 2017er und 2018er Philips Android TVs statt, die inzwischen dieselbe Firmware (TPM171E) nutzen.
Weiterhin arbeitet Philips TV und Sound an ersten DTS Play-Fi Produkten (Soundbars und Multiroom-Lautsprecher), die im September vorgestellt werden sollen.
