Philips: Offizielles Rollout von Android TV 8 Oreo in den nächsten Tagen (Video)

nachdem ich im Sommer exklusiv berichtet hatte , dass Android TV 8 Oreo für Philips TV-Geräte/-Modelle der Jahrgänge 2014-2018 kommen wird, kann ich nun berichten, dass der Start des offiziellen Rollouts kurz bevor steht.
Bereits im Oktober haben die 2017er Philips TV-Modelle 7272 (Firmware QM163E, Chassis TPM17.3ELA) das erste Oreo-Test-Update erhalten, gefolgt von zwei weiteren Oreo-Updates (via Internet Push). Genauso hat der 2016er Philips OLED-TV-Modells 55POS901F/12 (Firmware QM161E, Chassis QM16.1ELA) in bestimmten Regionen (hier Schweden) ein Oreo-Internet-Push bekommen.
Aber nun ist es wohl soweit. Wie ich in Erfahrung bringen konnte, wird ein allgemeines Update für die ersten Philips TVs in den kommenden Tagen (diese Woche) zur Verfügung gestellt. Das heißt, es wird ein Update zum Download zur Installation via USB geben.
