Tachchen,<\/p>\n

Philips gab heute bekannt, dass das Unternehmen seine TV-Sparte in ein Joint Venture mit TPV Technology<\/a> (ans\u00e4ssig in Hong Kong) ausgliedern wird. Philips wird einen Anteil von 30% an diesem Joint Venture halten.<\/p>\n

Das Joint Venture wird f\u00fcr das das Design, die Herstellung, die Verteilung, das Marketing und Verkauf Philips\u2019 TV-Business weltweit (au\u00dfer f\u00fcr China, Indien, USA, Canada, Mexiko und einige s\u00fcdamerikanische L\u00e4nder) verantwortlich sein. Philips wird seinen Namen f\u00fcr das Joint Venture (f\u00fcr zun\u00e4chst 5 Jahre) zur Verf\u00fcgung stellen (unter bestimmten Qualit\u00e4ts- und Kundenstandards). Im Gegenzug erh\u00e4lt Philips Lizensierungserl\u00f6se.<\/p>\n

Bis Ende 2011 soll das Joint Venture vertraglich besiegelt werden.<\/p>\n

Laut Nachfrage von heise.de<\/a> bei Philips \u00e4ndert sich f\u00fcr die Kunden und den Handel nichts.<\/p>\n

Hier noch eine Klarstellung seitens Philips:<\/p>\n

Only the ownership changes, not the products or the people (in principle all current Philips TV employees will go over and will form the new company!).
\n– We continue to produce in Europe,
\n– We continue to design in Europe,
\n– We remain a European brand (with HQ in Amsterdam, the Netherlands).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
