So wurden die TVs der <a href=\"https:\/\/toengel.net\/philipsblog\/2013\/06\/04\/philips-2013-dts-support-ab-7x08er-serie-mit-kommendem-firmware-update\/\">7x08er, 8x08er und 9708er via Firmware-Update daf\u00fcr aktualisiert<\/a>. Theoretisch (und praktisch) w\u00e4re ein Unterst\u00fctzung <a href=\"https:\/\/toengel.net\/philipsblog\/2013\/07\/03\/philips-2013-kein-dts-fr-6008er-serie-auch-wenn-es-gehen-wrde\/\">in der 6xx8er auch m\u00f6glich<\/a>. Die DTS-Funktionalit\u00e4t wurde jedoch aus \u201cMarketing-Gr\u00fcnden\u201d via Software deaktiviert.<\/p>\n<p>Man kann den Willen, DTS zu integrieren, begl\u00fcckw\u00fcnschen. Jedoch ist die Umsetzung nur halbherzig und h\u00e4tte besser und damit vollst\u00e4ndig sein <u>k\u00f6nnen<\/u>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Was ist Fakt?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>DTS wird aktuell nur via USB- und DLNA-Zuspielung unterst\u00fctzt. \u00dcber das TV-Signal wird kein DTS verbreitet. Man k\u00f6nnte argumentieren, dass man den Ton vom Blu-ray-Player direkt an eine Audioanlage anschlie\u00dfen soll, um das \u201cStereo-Problem\u201d zu umgehen. Jedoch gibt es in diesem Setup das Problem der Ton-Bild-Synchronisation: Dadurch, dass TV-Ger\u00e4te heutzutage immer Bildverbesserungsalgorithmen integriert haben, muss der Ton verz\u00f6gert ausgegeben werden, damit die Lippensynchronit\u00e4t wieder hergestellt wird. Diese Problem besteht nicht, wenn der TV sowohl f\u00fcr Bild als auch Ton verantwortlich ist (was beim Durchschleifen des Tons der Fall ist). Nicht alle externe Ger\u00e4te besitzen die M\u00f6glichkeit den Ton verz\u00f6gert auszugeben. Wenn doch, ist es ein Gl\u00fccksspiel die genaue Verz\u00f6gerung einzustellen.<\/p>\n<ul><!--EndFragment--><\/ul>\n<p><strong>Was ist die Ursache?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bei der Verbindung zweier Ger\u00e4te via HDMI findet ein Handshake statt, bei dem die Ger\u00e4te aushandeln, was alles unterst\u00fctzt wird. So melden die Philips TVs der oben genannten TV-Serien folgende Audiounterst\u00fctzung via HDMI (<a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/EDID\" rel=\"nofollow noopener external\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"external external_icon\">EDID-Informationen<\/a>):<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>CE audio data (formats supported):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/LPCM\" rel=\"nofollow noopener external\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"external external_icon\">LPCM<\/a>: 2-channel, 16\/20\/24 bit depths at 32\/44\/48\/88\/96 kHz<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dolby_Digital\" rel=\"nofollow noopener external\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"external external_icon\">AC-3<\/a>: 6-channel,\u00a0 640k max. bit rate at 32\/44\/48 kHz<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Ein Blu-ray-Player w\u00fcrde somit sehen, dass kein DTS unterst\u00fctzt wird (sondern nur LPCM und AC-3 [Dolby Digital 5.1]) und w\u00fcrde den DTS-Ton auf 2.0 Stereo (LPCM) konvertieren. Falls der Blu-ray-Player das Herunterrechnen nicht kann, w\u00fcrde gar kein Ton am TV ankommen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fazit<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Philips hat es endlich geschafft, DTS zu integrieren. Leider nicht vollst\u00e4ndig, was sehr \u00e4rgerlich ist.<\/p>\n<p>Viel \u00e4rgerlicher ist jedoch, dass keiner bei Philips im Stande bzw. gewillt ist zu beantworten, ob ein Update noch kommen wird, um eine vollst\u00e4ndige Unterst\u00fctzung auch via HDMI-Zuspielung zu gew\u00e4hrleisten. Hier muss noch was passieren!
