Da der TV kein Bild ausgibt, habe ich mich \u00fcber die Service-Schnittstelle informiert, die auf der R\u00fcckseite jedes Philips TVs zug\u00e4nglich ist. Oft wird diese mit &#8220;Service&#8221; oder &#8220;SERV.U&#8221; beschriftet und kommt in Form eines Klinkensteckers oder 3-poligen PIN-Anschlusses daher. Wie man nun \u00fcber diesen Anschluss Log-Dateien auslesen und aufzeichnen kann, erf\u00e4hrt man in diesem Blogeintrag.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u00dcber diesen Service-Anschluss lassen sich nicht nur Logs lesen, sondern dar\u00fcber kann auch Software auf die Ger\u00e4te eingespielt werden. Das hei\u00dft, eine Leitung wird zum Senden (TxD), eine Leitung wird zum Empfangen (RxD) und eine Leitung als Erde (GND) genutzt. \u00dcber <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Logikpegel\" rel=\"nofollow noopener external\" class=\"external external_icon\" target=\"_blank\">Spannungspegel<\/a> werden dann die Bits zum Informationsaustausch realisiert.<\/p>\n<p>Da diese Box nirgendwo aufzutreiben war, musste eine Alternative her, um mit einem aktuellen PC mit dem TV Verbindung aufnehmen zu k\u00f6nnen. Bei mir unter Windows 10 musste ich manuell nach Treibern (Optionale Updates) unter Windows Update suchen. Im Ger\u00e4te-Manager (rechte Maustaste auf das Windows-Logo in der Startleiste) gibt es nun 2 neue Eintr\u00e4ge:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Unter &#8220;USB-Controller&#8221;: USB Serial Converter<\/li>\n<li>Unter &#8220;Anschl\u00fcsse (COM &amp; LPT)&#8221;: USB Serial Port (COM3) &#8211; [Anmerkung: die Nummer hinter COM kann variieren]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Jetzt ben\u00f6tigt man noch ein geeignetes Terminal-Programm. Hier habe ich <a href=\"https:\/\/www.putty.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener external\" class=\"external external_icon\" target=\"_blank\">PuTTY<\/a> verwendet (gibt es auch als <a href=\"https:\/\/portableapps.com\/de\/apps\/internet\/putty_portable\" rel=\"nofollow noopener external\" class=\"external external_icon\" target=\"_blank\">Portable App ohne Installation<\/a>). Folgende Einstellungen m\u00fcssen vorgenommen werden:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Abschnitt Connection -&gt; Serial\n<ul>\n<li>Serial line to connect to: COM3<\/li>\n<li>Speed (baud): 115200<\/li>\n<li>Data bits: 8<\/li>\n<li>Stop bits: 1<\/li>\n<li>Party: none<\/li>\n<li>Flow control: none<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Session -&gt; Specify the destination you want to connect to\n<ul>\n<li>Connection type: Serial<\/li>\n<li>Serial line:\u00a0 COM3<\/li>\n<li>Speed: 115200<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Session -&gt; Logging\n<ul>\n<li>All session output<\/li>\n<li>Log file name: Hier habe ich eine Datei auf dem Desktop abgespeichert (bspw: PuTTY.log)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Zum Testen des USB-Dongles und des gebastelten Kabels<\/strong> habe ich in PuTTY noch folgende Einstellung vorgenommen:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Terminal\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Line discipline options: Local echo = Force on<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wenn man nun am USB-Dongle den beiliegenden Jumper nutzt, um TxD und RxD direkt zu verbinden und in der gestarteten PuTTY-Session einen Buchstaben auf der Tastatur eingibt, sollte jede Eingabe sich wiederholen. Es wird also sowohl die Eingabe, als auch die Ausgabe in PuTTY ausgegeben. In PuTTY sollte sich ebenfalls jede Eingabe wiederholen.<\/p>\n<p>Nachdem der Test erfolgreich war, stellt man die Terminal-Option &#8220;Local echo&#8221; wieder auf &#8220;Auto&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jetzt kann man am TV einen Log mitschneiden:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>TV ausschalten<\/li>\n<li>Kabel verbinden<\/li>\n<li>PuTTY Session starten<\/li>\n<li>TV einschalten<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nun sollte sich Putty ganz schnell mit Log-Daten f\u00fcllen und man kann versuchen die Ausgabe zu deuten.<\/p>\n<p>Fehler werden dabei immer durch &#8220;&lt;&lt;&lt; ERROR &gt;&gt;&gt;&#8221; gekennzeichnet. Man kann beispielsweise den Editor <a href=\"https:\/\/notepad-plus-plus.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener external\" class=\"external external_icon\" target=\"_blank\">Notepad++<\/a> nutzen, um danach
