    Moin,

I’m after some info on how to fix messed up edid. I’ve got a 50pus8105/12 and all 3 of my HDMI’s Edid are messed up. Both my HDMI 1 and 3 are stating 1080p, the RGB and white x-y look well off and HDMI 2 cea checksum error if anyone would be able to send me a copy of there Edid for the 7805/7855 or 8105 so I can see what’s wrong or point me in the right direction would be great. I have all 3 Edids dumped to USB if it helps. Would the upgrade loader help or is there away to fix?

    Hi,

Did you use https://www.entechtaiwan.com/util/moninfo.shtm to read the EDID info via PC?

Yes, I’ve used 3 different programs to read it. I used elim, aws analog and the one you linked.

    Hi,

was the TV in some way repaired, that you think, that EDID is broken? One idea is to upload NVM.BIN again or take a look at the service menu.

No tv is not been repaired. My edid states it’s native is only 1080p, no mention of HDR or 4k resolution, no dci p3 in the color part of the Edid and HDMI 2 has a cea checksum error. How do I find or get the nvm.bin for my set?

Edit to my post. By my understanding Dolby vision shouldn’t be rec709 and not RGB. Shouldn’t it be bt2020 and ycbcr 4.4.4 or 4.2.2

    HI,

can you paste here the output of the MonInfo tool? DV can be transported via REC709 – aFaik e.g. Apple TV box did that in the past.

    Hi,

your URL is a local URL, which only works on your PC. Just copy the text output and paste it here.
