Habe seit gut net Woche das Android 11 auf dem. Philips oled 804 65 Zoll. Was mich brutal stört, ist Ton Option Bypass. Nach JEDEM umschalten am sky receiver habe ich diese Ton Verzögerung. Muss ständig Option Bypass erneut klicken dass ich wieder synchron bin. Was kann ich denn tun?
Dieses Phänomen gab es bei der älteren Software auch aber nur einmal. Heißt da habe ich bei jedem Start Bypass geklickt und gut war, jetzt bei jedem Sender Wechsel (nutze soundbar jbl 9.1)
Ps: laufen Sachen über den philips direkt (netflix, disney usw) alles super synchron, muss nichts weiter einstellen. Bei sky sind es uhd Programme, laufen synchron. Nur dolby 5.1 Sachen laufen asynchron und muss neu über Bypass gestellt werden…. Sehr nervig
I ordered the Rankie USB 3.0 Gigabit adapter for my 48OLED935 as suggested here.
Ran a speed test and got about 700 Mbit up and down (my internet is 1 Gbit fiber).
I would call that a huge improvement :)
Also, it allows me to now play high bitrate .MP4 files with Dolby Vision in Kodi. Before, with the 100 Mbit Ethernet port, these would not run properly and stutter like crazy.
Hallo, ich möchte um eine Klarstellung bitten. In der TV-Fernbedienung 55 804 gibt es durch Drücken der +-Taste eine Bild-in-Bild-Option. Wie können Sie das in der Ecke des Fernsehers platzierte Bild aufnehmen? Gibt es einen Schlüssel, der den Zweck erfüllt? Danke schön.

J’en ai fait les frais moi aussi, malheureusement (pour d’autres raisons), il semble qu’il y ait des grincheux ici comme ailleurs qui se plaisent à mépriser les autres, c’est bien dommage et j’en suis désolé pour Vinceon. Ce blog est de grande qualité merci à son auteur, tans pis pour les grincheux. Ma traduction n’est pos correcte non plus (puisqu’inexistante) mais comprenne qui pourra.

Hi Maurice! You said with your new gigabit adapter you can run KODI with Dolby vision? This is fantastic!! Do you use the Marven Build our which version, as standard version from Playstore unfortunately doesn’t support DV. What about resolution switching and framerate switching?? Does this work too with 4k and 23.97/24 fps? This would be perfect, because I want to retire my Nvidia Shield.
@Rubicon In this case I was talking about .MP4 files with Dolby Vision and those work with standard Kodi (19 and 20). For .MKV files you either need a Maven build or an Omega (Kodi 21) nightly. Kodi Omega includes ffmpeg 5.x which also supports DV in MKV.
4K works just fine (although it will not show you in the Kodi GUI, but that’s a limitation of Android TV on Philips/Sony TVs).
I am not sure about refresh rate switching. I believe it works, but I don’t know how to check, because the TV Info screen cannot be accessed when running an Android app.
I would keep my Nvidia Shield if I were you though. Because TVs cannot send HD audio like DTS HD and True HD back to your receiver or soundbar. Even if they have E-ARC, I read it will not work, again because of limitations in Android TV.
So the KODI GUI will be 1080p max? You can press the “+” Button on the remote and then click on system information. Then your TV will show resolution and framerate.
If you don’t notice any pulldown stuttering when playing 24p content framerate switching should work.
You’re right, I was talking about mkv not MP4.

Mit Omega (Kodi 21) funktioniert endlich Dolby Vision zuverlässig.
