<p style=”text-align: center;”>In search of information I came here and leave the report of an annoying bug with Ambilight on this TV. I have the brightness set to half, every time I I put the TV on standby and turn it back on, the brightness remains at maximum, I go to the settings and what I set remains the same, but for the brightness to return to half I have to change them again. Now I don’t know if it’s a defect or a software bug, I didn’t get to test the TV with the factory firmware, because in the initial settings I immediately updated it to the latest firmware.

<p style=”text-align: center;”>Update, if i disconnect the TV from the power plug the situation mentioned above no longer happens, but then I put it on standby and the same problem comes back.

Very disappointed, is it possible for an old full HD LCD from 2008 to have much better image quality? I don’t know if I’ll be able to get used to this panel…
Hi,
8000 series from 2008 is a much higher series compared to 80×9 from 2024… you should consider to change your 8009 to 8909…

Hi
The problem is that store does not have higher models in this size range from Philips.
And by the way, new firmware has come out (TPN246E: 246.004.012.151), but the Ambilight bug continues, when the TV returns from standby it does not assume the previous brightness setting.
Is there any contact to report bugs from Titan OS?
