Hallo zusammen,
seit 2 Tagen hab ich den 65PUS6814, allerdings erhebliche Problem mit der Ambilight + HUE Funktion. Der TV verbindet sich mit der Bridge, zeigt aber nur 14 Lampen von 40 an und es sind nicht die 3 Lampen aufgeführt, die ich um den TV platziert hab. Es werden willkürliche Lampen angezeigt. Auch die Config über die Remote App funktioniert gar nicht, der TV spricht die Lampen nicht an. Hatte vorder den 55PUS7181/12 und da ging es problemlos. Hat jemand hier einen Tipp? Zurücksetzen und vom Strom nehmen des TV hab ich auch probiert.

soweit ich das mitbekommen habe, ist das ein Implementierungsfehler.
– der TV listet nur die ersten 50 IDs der Bridge auf
– Beispiel:– du fügst eine Lampe der Bridge hinzu => die bekommt die ID 1
– du fügst eine weiter Lampe der Bridge hinzu => die bekommt die ID 2
– du löschst Lampe 1
– du fügst wieder eine Lampe hinzu => die bekommt die ID3Aber ist nur eine Vermutung. Wahrscheinlich hilft hier nur ein Reset der Bridge…
Auch die Config über die Remote App funktioniert gar nicht

dicken Dank für die Antwort. Das ist ja richtig beschmiert, wenn ich die Bridge resetten muss. Der Aufwand dann wieder alles einzurichten, ist schon Hardcore :-( auf jeden Fall klingt Deine Antwort schlüssig. Ich hab den Philips Support auch mal angeschrieben. Vielleicht machen die das mit einem kommenden Update auch wieder heile?!
Mit der Config über die Remote App meinte ich, dass ich den TV auswählen kann, dann dort klicke ich dann auf Ambilight + Hue und es werden alle Lampen angezeigt, wenn ich dort aber die 3 Lampen auswähle und die Anordnung vornehme, dann stellt der TV selber danach auf Ambilight + Hue “aus”. Wenn ich es anschalte, gehen die 3 Lampen nicht mit, aber bei dem Punkt auf dem TV “Konfiguration anzeigen” werden mir 3 verbunden Lampen angezeigt.

I just bought the 55OLED754 and I’m really happy with it. I’ve attached an Apple TV 4k to it to enjoy Dolby Vision while streaming Disney + movies. There is just one thing that bothers me, and that is that I can see clear color banding issues when using the Apple TV in Dolby Vision mode. When I inspect the signal, I can see that the Color Depth is RGB 8-bit.
I’ve tried all settings, bought a new hdmi cable and also updated both devices to the latest software. Nothing seems to fix it. When I use HDR in the Apple TV, then it has a 12-bit output.
Is this a known bug in the firmware of the television, or is this something Apple should fix?

this is not a bug… it is called Dobly Vision HDMI Tunneling… (or RGB tunneling). The 12 bit ICtCp DV signal + Metadata is encapsulated inside the regular RGB 8 bit video signal.

Thank you so much for your reply. This clarifies a lot :) It seems I have been focussing on the wrong data.
Still wondering though why I get a lot of this color banding while using Dolby Vision on the Apple TV. It is really noticable, even in the Apple TV menu. It kinda ruins the experience and forces me to use HDR instead. Then the color banding is gone. Any clue how to resolve this? Do you think it is a problem in tvOS?
Note: the build-in Netflix app doesn’t appear to have these issues.

The entire output of the Apple TV can be set to Dolby Vision/HDR/SDR, so that also includes the menu. When I set it to DV, I can see clear color banding on the buttons in the menu, but the issues in movies are the worst. Especially when there are clear bright blue skies on screen. All of these issues are gone when I use HDR or SDR.
I tried to post a link to another forum earlier, but I think I’m not allowed to do so. I’ve found someone with the exact same issue on Hifi-forum. Since I can’t post the link, you can find the thread by looking for topic name “65OLED754 und Apple TV 4K Dolby Vision Color Banding”. I noticed you also replied in that thread about a month ago.
The user also posted a screenshot of the color banding in the menu, so that could help as reference.
