In der Netflix App geht das mit der der “i” auf der Fernbedienung.
in Youtube ein 4K 60FPS Video auswählen und dann dort unter “Mehr” gucken welche Auflösungen angezeigt werden, dort sollte dann 720p das höchste sein.

    On YT max 720p

I recommend to install Smart YouTube app

    Everything works flawless – 4k 60fps

    Best regards

    (Sorry for english only)
I have a strange problem with my 55OLED803/12 running TPM171E: 107.1.132.0. The android channel icons for apps are not showing up on the home screen, only dark grey circles where the icons should be:
    Here's how it looks

This happens to all the apps I have installed, except Youtube, Netflix, and Google Play Movies/Music. Currently the icons are missing for: Prime Video, HBO GO, Chili VOD, Plex and I tested with other apps from Play Store – it’s like that for most of them (but some do show up, like vimeo and ted)…

I have already tried everything I could think of: reinstalling apps, resetting tv to factory defaults, even reinstalling from the upgrade_loader.pkg (which I got from Philips support). And the icons are still missing…

Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

    Hallo zusammen,

Ok, so at the moment there is virtually no way of streaming full quality on either Amazon,Netflix (both of which come preinstalled with the TV) – Netflix: no 4K, Amazon: no HDR) or Disney+. This basically means that most people (myself included) cannot in any way benefit from their costly OLED TVs features, there are simply no sources for 4K HDR movies available, all available sources deteriorated over the last month or so. This is not acceptable and we should at the very least be given a legitimate timeframe for the fix of all these issues. You have articles online saying it could be a couple of months, and I feel that could be a basis to demand a working replacement TV or a full refund.

The number of issues I have with the Philips TV after just a year are really troubling and include:

intermittent sound issues with streaming videos
    dead pixels (currently in service)
    missing channel icons (no fix)
    autoinstalling apps after reset
HDR locked on a very dark settings (need to access the menu to fix)
HDMI control problems with Sony Amp (device switching on in a loop)
and now this issue with picture quality in ALL streaming services

    That’s just absurd.

    Hi,

I asked for it before, and I can’t resolve. My TV is 55pos9002. The problem is that when an secene of a film is too dark and goes on for a few minutes, the bright of the panel decreases, and suddenly, in the next scene with bright (daylight for example), the TV recovers the bright.

I have read that the OLED TVs work like this to avoid burns, but in this case os dark scenes is too agresive.

Is it possible to desactivate this option in “service menu”?.

    Thanks a lot, ;)
