Habt Ihr gelesen?

I still have massive problems with internet fall outs. Both wifi and Lan.
When i use netflix it is the least a small break in sound (1 second) ones every 20min (helps if I clear internet cache) in amazon prime every 5min. And if I use iptv(live channel or perfect player etc) a break for a few seconds every 2-3 Minutes
All the above works flawless with an cheap android box.

Can’t believe Philips still hasn’t fix this issue yet!

Installed new TPM 107.1.101.2 version on 55POS9002/12.

Problems HDMI/ARC: no audio on audio return channel (multichannel, stereo ,dolby digital, bypass…..on my Philips soundbar which was perfectly working with 171E003.001.012 version.
Netflix 5.1 signal via PioneerAVR/TOSLINK is ok.
So I downgraded back and everything works again as it should.

Hab gestern schon versucht das zu posten. Ging wohl nicht… versuche es nochmal:
    Update Aufforderung deaktivieren:
Fertig.
    ————
    Disable update notification:
use OpenDNS or your router to block:
    authorize[.]nettvservices[.]com
    firmware[.]nettvservices[.]com
If the update file is already on your TV then delete the Internet cache from the settings menu.

    Tachchen,

After yesterday’s downgrade I have the messages again “please upgrade” .
So I will have to use @Kro procedure to block Philips site : how to delete internet cache on TV 55pos9002/12 ?

    Hi,

I think you can find this option in the network settings…

    Hallo zusammen,

I would like thechnical confirmation please that new software now has HDMI/ARC DD+(doly digital plus) output??
Since I have a relatively old Philips soundbar HTS9140 (from 2010), I presume this is the reason that DD+ sound via HDMI/ARC does not work with new TPM171 firmware.

DD+ over arc work fine . DD has created some problems for some users on older AVRs/soundsbars

I’ve noticed other problems on top of the inability of encode DD+ to DD when I updated 8102 from nougat to oreo.
It seems I can’t play 24fps movies smoothly via kodi any more. In the kodi whitelist settings there is just one option 1920×1080 60fps and that is it. It means that 24fps movies are played at 60fps which means stuttering issues.
And now movie aspect ratios are all wonky, as in more black bars, less picture.
More talk about this in the kodi forums.

God damn Philips and its firmware updates…
